@ThatIcelandicDude8 жыл бұрын
+Bidmartinlo No they wherent! Iceland was discovered in 874 by Norwegians but Norway never made any claims to it. and due to a civil war in Norway at the time Iceland was settled. with the creation of Alþingi in 930 Iceland became a nation and greenland was mostly settled by Icelanders and there are some evidence suggesting that Icelanders even collected taxes from greenland. in 1220 a civil war breaks out in Iceland which ends with Iceland signing Gamli sáttmáli and joining Norway in 1262 so as you can see for the entirety of the viking age Iceland was an Indipendent nation! and not to mention that almost half of the people there were of irish decents.

Like I said, Vinland is called that because of a variety of grapes that was found in the area that is now known as Labrador and Newfoundland. I can only speak English apart from Tamil but there doesn't exist any rock or metal there in Tamil culture or native Indian culture in general with its multitude of languages. Personally, I love their English covers although I dream to pick up their Dutch lyrics and kareoke it phonetically. I want to pick up their songs on my guitar as well (language is just an expression, it's the energy and passion behind the music that matters 😊) Nothgard's new album "Sinners sake" comes out on my birthday. Very excited. Love equilibrium as well and excited they're guest playing in their album. You've got awesome taste in music \M/ take care.
