We had 10 days in Naples 2 years ago and we really loved it. We went to Pompeii and Sorrento by using the local trains and the food at the little restaurants was so cheap. We used to sit with a glass of wine and a litre bottle of Peroni and had a bucket of fresh cooked mussels for about 7 euros for the lot! People were so friendly and we never felt nervous wherever we went. The scooters were crazy - we saw waiters on them balancing trays of coffees and dads with a little child on his lap and a baby in his arms!!! I'd go back in a heartbeat if I could.

All my favorite things to eat... The pizza's, and the Sfogliatella, ( AKA - lobster tail in the USA). They make them wiith different fillings. Driver's are interesting! Lol thank you.

Stayed in Sorrento a few years ago, beautiful place and would love to go again. Went to Pompeii, climbed up Vesuvius which was an amazing experience and did a coach trip along the Amalfi coast, finished off with a boat trip to Ishcia island for the thermal pools.

Have visited Lake Garda 3 yrs on the go,a beautiful area,go the lakes if you get the chance....Ate lots of pizza and gelato,such good food. Was grateful to go to Italy,always somewhere i had wanted to visit.

As you get off the ship the first castle you came across every morning someone from the municipal authority does a free walking tour if you ever go again highly recommend….PS the tour unfortunately is 10 am

The last time we were Naples we had pizza just down the side street where the scaffolding was into the massive shopping arcade... It was just the best pizza ever 1 bottle of original Perroni and a 14" pizza 5uros each best deal by far ever was great

I was on my way to Pompeii with some friends and changing trains looking where to go when an older man helped us. He went out of his way to do so and told us he used to do tours in Pompeii. He walked us to the gate, so nice, lots of info. Pompeii is so, so much larger than I expected. In Naples there was major construction around the train station we didn’t dare leave it so nice to see your experience. My fave cities were Venice and Florence. Venice was sooo picturesque, can’t take a bad photo.

Great vlog again, Rome is exactly the same with traffic and even worse when we visited as they were holding an earth demonstration. Just as you were heading back my husband said about starbucks then you said it there and then, there is a starbucks in Rome lol, can't wait for next upload very addicted, enjoy your hols xx

Mt Vesuvius, famous volcano, Pompeii, fabulous art and people frozen in time or pizza? Tough question, but we would have done the same, Kev and Stacey! Pizza in it's birthplace and gelato too. Just don't get run over when your moving a little slow after the feast! Can't imagine driving in a large Italian City. It's not like either the UK or US as they seem to drive on both sides of the road there! Loved the tour, but did you have to get your mug from Amazon at almost 70 Euros a mug? That's a lot of pizza! Thanks for bringing us along.

Haha no Dave and Kathy we didn't get the mug off Amazon 🤣 as much as we wanted it we're not paying £70. And it's definitely a different experience it seems on the roads lol lovely place though and we would love to see more of Italy one day. Naples isn’t a good introduction to Italy . Try Venice, Florence and Rome. The Almafi coast is amazing, plus islands like Capri and Ischia . Then of course go down to Puglia. Beautiful country!

I went in a taxi in Italy (I'm a wheelchair user) I held on & closed my eyes 😂 it was an experience.. Rush hour the weaving ill never forgot! Italy is a beautiful country
