We really enjoy your descriptive language and feel that we're there with you. We'd love to know what you did in a previous life as the film industry would be lucky to have you. Thanks again for another masterpiece. Don't change a thing. Your content, balance humour and diction are perfect. Thank you!

Naples is like New York City. Gritty but so interesting. I had to look thru my scrapbook & get the name of the restaurant - Attorie Spettatori on Via Santa Lucia 21 is where we found it by just walking around. It was amazing! @@ritzytravelguide

Thanks for the tour. We stopped several years ago and opted for Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast. You're absolutely right that in a single day, one can't take in enough. I'd love to return for a more leisurely visit.

We cruised on Queen Victoria in 2017 and stopped at Athens. I wish we could have had longer there so it was good to see it all with you and your wife. I was really surprised at how crowded that beach in Amalfi was. Athens certainly is an interesting place. Thanks for taking us along.

Many years ago we were on a tour from Sorrento to Capri. We were given return ferry tickets. We got to the dock only to find that ferry workers had called a strike. It was a terrible trip back to Sorrento and some folks on our tour didn’t get back until about 9 pm. Moral of the story - go on this excursion through your cruise line.

It is a fabulous day visit, yes!
@sherrymiller23022 ай бұрын
So agree. The cruise line will keep you safe and organized because they are the responsible party.... I remember back in the 90's waking up in my cabin w/Vesuvius in my "backyard". I hope you had a good time during the rest of your journey because we packed in as much we could in one day..

When you asked how we woukd describe Naples, I thought "edgy " Ive not yet been but it suits that description. Wonder if you like it better than Rome?
@ritzytravelguide8 ай бұрын
It definitely is edgy! But in a characterful way! It's quite different to Rome, as it's more compact, and easier to cover in a short visit. I do have a video on Rome coming out in a couple of months where I compare the 2 cities. But I am holding back releasing that video, as we are in Rome again this June and want to combine footage from that trip as well, to add more insight.
@MadeNCda8 ай бұрын
@ritzytravelguide Wonderful, Bill. Look forward to that video as well. I thoroughly enjoy your content. I feel bad referring to your lovely wife as "your wife" but do understand if she prefers to remain private. Please do extend my appreciation to her, too, as her remarks are very humorous 😄
