I Travel many Times with MSC …loved Their ships and their prices!

We were on queen ann end of July and disliked nearly everything about it. We have cruised for many years and this is too American , too large and bad,y designed. We could go on and on but have now booked a smaller British ship for next year.

Perusing the comments, and "likes" here, the divisive nature of the VV offering is readily apparent. There is a profound difference between "edgy" and "perverse." Glorifying the mutant, or anti-social does not showcase the exceptional, but that is just Richard Branson drawing attention to himself.

As an introvert I cannot wait to do a VV cruise!! I love the all-inclusive pricing and adults-only concept. Thanks for the restaurant reviews, I needed to hear that. Love your wife's interjecting with her opinion also🫶🏽. My only concern is the small bathroom😢, as I am also claustrophobic. Thanks again for your review!
@ritzytravelguideКүн бұрын
Hi there, sounds like Virg8n is absolutely for you! Concerning the bathrooms their size is pretty much in line with other cruise lines. Fairly typical dimensions. We found them to be fine

15:02 Hi Ritzy. Just wanted to say thanks for an informative video. We have just got back from a week on The Azura which we booked based mainly because of your video as it was my wife’s first cruise so was skeptical and your video encouraged her to go. She really loved it and your tip about the quieter Aft pool was a godsend 👍. A couple of things you might like to mention are that you can pre-book the speciality restaurants 2 weeks before you sail via the P & O website, especially if your cruise starts on the Saturday and not the Friday, as like you say, were booked out once on board. We booked the P & O Toboggan & Cable car tour and they know the queues up are long so organize the tour to take the cable car down instead of up 😉 where there are no queues. Thanks once again. 🙏🙏

Hi Rowland, so glad to hear it went well. Thank you for the tips. Anyone reading this will much appreciate it. Now that your wife has happily begun her cruising baptism, you can plan ahead for the next one!

We are just arriving in Curacao, as I type this! What a coincidence. It's 7am, and I can see the dramatic landscape hoving into view
@ritzytravelguideКүн бұрын
If you want to keep with P&O, many of their ships winter in the Caribbean. The Arvia and Iona come to mind. But they are substantially bigger than Azura, and not my personal favourites. Many cruise lines operate Caribbean trips, particularly out of Miami and Fort Lauderdale. We personally enjoy Celebrity, Holland America, Princess, and Azamara for the Caribbean. But to be honest there's so much choice!

I just got off my 2nd VV cruise and absolutely loved this ship. The first time I called to book my restaurants 45 days in advance..the 2nd trip Oct 16-20, 2024 there were no reservations. What Ritzy didn't know, as soon as you board the ship, let the welcome team know and they directed me to Razzle Dazzle, no line and I booked all the restaurants I wanted for dinner and brunch. I'm not a big show person.. I liked the intimate settings with live bands, singers and karaoke in the sports bars across the ship. The ship pool didn't appeal to me on Sea days I'm on a Dock daybed eating grilled octopus, Hummus, and lamb bites. listening to my music and reading a book. the FOOD IS AMAZING, all SPECIALTY DINING included. The beach club at Bimini has 2 huge pools one that's turn up with the DJ and the other that's quiet, not to mention great food and a nice beach. The Redemption spa is the truth...TEAM VIRGIN... Adults only..Former HighSchool Teacher... no kids

Hi, thank you for your message. Glad it was a great experience for you. The 2 Virgin cruises we were on recently, going to Razzle Dazzle was of limited effect. We met so many passengers who were unable to secure restaurant reservations onboard, as they were fully booked

I have now been on MSC Virtuosa 5 times in the past year and for me and my mum we have done a variety of cruises. from 2 night cruises to 2 week cruises. what we notice was the 2 nighters are very much a party atmosphere for more hen and stag do's, the 5 nighters are more relaxed as when we went on it 3 weeks ago there was a capacity of 5600 guest, so the buffet and pool areas felt considerably more spacious. however, one of the summer 2 week cruises I did in July 2023 was more of a different story, the pool areas were crowded and the ship was more rowdy, we think this was due to more Scottish people being on the ship as when we did the 2 week cruise in the summer this year but in august the ship felt more friendlier. in 1 year the disembarkation has improved, in 2023 our experience was carnage like described in this video, but on my recent experiences from this summer and the 5 and 2 week cruise I got off, if you don't go to your meeting point and just wait for your number to be called over the loud speaker the environment and time feels easier as deck 6/7 is were all the meeting points and chaos could be. All in all knowing what I know the ships can be like with MSC they are great value for money and I will always be willing to come back, especially when there are perks for being a gold member.

Hi there! Thanks for your message. The shots took a fair amount of experimentation, especially the ones from the back of the ship! That one was achieved with a 360 camera and a long pole, then marching around, until I got it just so!

Thanks for the reply. I sometimes wish prominent KZbinrs would talk more about their technology and just how the film and produce. Do you know the best ever food show guy on KZbin? He might be the most prominent food guy on the planet right now. Great sense of humor check him out if you don't know him I don't think you'll be disappointed. Anyhow it's pretty clear his later work has a team... Still I have more questions than answers. Hey take care and thanks again.

At 4:49 you talk about the champagne bar. Please be advised that Moet is pronounced with a 't' sound. Its not a french word, i believe the name is Dutch but I've not checked. So pronounced just as its written and *not* as Mow-ay. I once ordered a glass of Moet in a bar, waitress said " so you want the Mow-ay?" she didnt get a tip that day.😢 Thanks, I love your content.

We are writing and warming you regarding our recent experience on the Celebrity Edge Cruise to the Great Barrier, dated 22/10/2024. Upon our return home, I was diagnosed with a throat infection and still have it a week later, which my doctor confirmed is likely due to inhaling soot from the ship’s engines while we were on the sun loungers. Additionally, my wife suffered from nausea and dizziness during our time on board detracting significantly from what was supposed to be an enjoyable experience. I also have a video documenting the heavy soot situation, which I can provide upon request. The Captain has been informed of our concerns; however, we feel it is important to formally request a full refund due to the serious health issues we encountered. Considering the circumstances, we believe this is a reasonable resolution. Sadly, no response yet! I also have a video documenting the heavy soot situation, which I can provide upon request. Thank you for your understanding, and we eagerly await for you to caution your Viewers. We appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to your prompt response.

I have been on the scarlet lady twice and a few unforgivable design flaws: the postage size swimming pool that is really good for dipping, the heat absorbent planking around the pool deck, the platform without railings to get into the pool so you have to be a gazelle just to get over the platform, the supppsed hot tub which isn’t a hot tub at all, and the ikea quality furniture that reminds one of the bunny firm at the playboy mansion. Yes I vote for tacky Las Vegas
