BACKDRAFT Classic vs Sport 2018

In today's episode we bring you two of the most popular editions. The Classic and Sport edition! Both manufactured by backdraft. In this video we go over the main differences between Classic and Sport edition.
First off the idea behind the classic edition is to imitate the car of the 60's. You're going to have more chrome, brushed aluminum and usually more colors that are significant with the 1960s era. This happens to be a Porsche color called Chalk. As you move down the side you're going to see some other chrome accents. The vents right outside the engine compartment, the wheels are generally painted grey on the interior with brushed aluminum on the exterior, and then you're going to have your chrome side pipes. All of the accesories on the vehicle are also in chrome or brushed aluminum.
On the interior of the car a wood stirring wheel, again that goes back to the 1960s. We've done a grey interior a little more of a simple leather pattern, and we've done some piping just to accent the interior. Center council is usually done in a carpet. When we look at the engine bay, this looks more like what the original car would've had. With some chrome accents on the interior and some brush aluminum accents on the air cleaner and the valve covers.
Now if you take a look at the sport style, generally much brighter colors. This happens to be a Lamborghini orange color accented with a metallic black stripe. Most of the components on the car are going to have either a matte black finish or a gloss black finish. Starting with the headlight bezels done in a gloss black, wheels all blacked out, side pipes done in a matte black finish. Windshield Bezel, rearview mirrors, roll bar, and even the area over the license bracket have all been blacked out. Going to the interior is where a lot more of the differences come in. A lot more aggressive interior a more contemporary version of the car. Carbon fiber dash, carbon fiber gauges, usually with black bezels. Diamond stitching patter, full leather interior, also leather on the center council. When you make your way underneath the hood the blackout theme carries through in this area, as well. Matte black and gloss black finishes with very little or no chrome.

I was never into Cobra replicas all that much until I discovered Backdrafts cars. I just love the sport versions which give contemporary looks over classic design. I can't wait to get one someday with a Coyote motor.
