Napoleon was speaking to a dieing officer on a battle field once, he said “you are injured, sir” The officer very calmly bleeding, responded “I am dieing, but I have died for you and your greatness”

@@Alejandra_Gonzalez_ somebody glossed over history and thought themselves an expert on the subject it seems... LOL Oh how shocking would it be for you when the day comes you realize all the wars fought in the Napoleonic wars, it was always France defending herself being declared on, and always Napoleon rising to the challenge in defense of her honor by wars goaded by either British money and ego, and other Monarchs egos being threatened and in fear of being considered lesser which ironically acting on such fears ultimately made them the lesser in the shadow of a man whose name defined an era by his own actions not by dint of existing, like some old crow Victoria...

I'm russian but I respect Napoleon even though we were enemies. He made a lot of good things for France and Europe. He really wanted Europe to be great. Bro came, humbled Nations, forged his empire, conquered, clapped basically almost everyone in Europe, Made laws which some are still using today. And United Europe..... Against him. Bro was literally in a constant 1v5, and still kept his Empire going for some time.

They walked stubbornly, fists in their pockets They smiled thinking of Gavroche They were sinking in the wind And always, they hoped at sunrise that the day would come one day When will it be daylight comrade? I always hear this question That they posed the comrades While an old cruiser in the harbor Was screaming at full gun It's for good They advanced with great difficulty, with great strides They came from the war or from the woods They were hoping for sunshine and love They supported each other the friends of always The ranks closed When will it be daylight comrade? I always hear this question That they posed the comrades While an old cruiser in the harbor Was screaming at full gun It's for good When autumn returns and the great evenings When the night is longer and darker I remember one evening in Petrograd Where the ancients searched for each other in the dark Hey guys When will it be daylight comrade? I always hear this question That they posed the comrades While an old cruiser in the harbor Was screaming at full gun Revolution

@@KeysAndDoorss Wanna know interesting facts about how France lost it's mainland in ww2 but still managed to win ? Britain was the largest supplier of artillery and ammo to the german army in 1940, why ? Because France expected them to hold at least 5 days, instead the teethIess brits ran away at the first bullet in their direction and leaving all of there equipment for the germans, even worse is that it left a huge gap behind France lines leading the to the killing, starving and capture of more than 1 million soldiers. France saved Britain entire army twice at Bir Hakeim and Dunkirk, so not only did France fought and won ww2 but saved the british that just served as an USA base during the war while doing close to nothing on the terrain and barely escaped destruction thanks to France.

Napoleone used France for what he wanted : Power . Napoleone Buonaparte is his real name from Corsica. His family originally from Tuscany fought with Pasquale Paoli against France. His father Carlo and him support the values and ideals of Paoli. Only when reached the power left the ideals of Corsica for the unification of Europe under his rules. He was really proud of his Italian and Tuscan ancestors and he used to Say : "I am more Italian and Tuscan than Corso"He changed is surname in Bonaparte because he was discriminated and bullied in France because he was not considered french. He learned French at Age of 9 and spoke French all his Life With a very strong Italian accent. He and his family were speaking Italian at home. His family moved to Italy and married Italian nobility.
