Napoleon is a real dude, glad to see him speak on the positive side of things when Vlad just wants his clicks and the juicy bits of the beef stories. Also happy Napoleon is able to be real with Snoop like that and genuinely feels he's being disrespectful as a friend. Other rappers or former rappers still at 40-50 years old would've acted all gangster about some of this stuff, but Napoleon breaks it down in a simple way with no attempt to make it bigger than things were and not to insinuate nothing. Black Zodak it’s on his arm not chest and he’s also has a song called m.o.b where he chants money over bitches repeatedly throughout the song not member of bloods which is what the meaning of the acronym is in regards to piru members there is not even a single picture in existence of 2pac throwing up piru and yea there’s pictures of him with red bandannas (which was before the deathrow era) but there’s also pictures of him with black and blue ones on as well so I guess that means he’s false claiming crip and gangster disciples right? Cmon bro if u listen to mobb James enough you will know that he only claim pac was false claiming because he’s mad because his brother (Buntry) died in a gang war that started from pacs death. There also a moment that pacs former bodyguard frank Alexander mentioned in his book when pac was pressed by crips the first time he went to the house of blues as they basically asked him what was his set to which he responded he was neutral. It’s so many signs he wasnt bangin but people always go with that narrative, just because Orlando was crip and pac jumped him with his security (who just so happen to be piru and a rival to Orlando’s set) doesn’t mean pac was trying to gain rep as a piru. There was a rumor of a bounty being place on a deathrow chain by bad boy (who pac hated dearly) and the rumor became supposedly true when Orlando took a chain from a deathrow member so when pac punched Orlando he didn’t see him as a rival to a set he was “false claiming” but somebody who was doing dirt for niggas from the east coast who he hated. Pac jumped Orlando and Orlando came back with guns common shit that happens in the environment they’re both from no matter if it’s gang affiliated or not.

I'm a huge Nas fan and it was clear to me, just from the music, he absolutely loved Pac and way he spoke about him. It was rare to see two artists so young influencing each other - Nas influenced everybody with his debut record but as the juggernaut of mid 90s rap that is Tupac rolled on Nas definitely appreciated him more than most his contemporaries. There wasn't any serious beef between the two and basically a huge misunderstanding which the two squashed. Pac told him that Against All Odds was gonna drop, he shouldn't respond and there won't be drama. He told him his beef was with puff and bad boys. They embraced and even agreed for Nas to jump on the one nation joint. They were natural allies. And in time even biggie's beef was would have been squashed. Lil Cease said BIG used to drive around NY listening to the latest pac album for months non-stop.

None of the Outlawz did anything after Pac died. All talk, no action. Edi said on "murder made easy" that "we got enemies, plus the ones that Pac left" then said Keefe D is not an enemy!! Then Napoleon grabbed a mic? Puffy put a hit out on Pac and a bounty on Death Row chains which lead to his demise. Napoleon should have buried his ass. So should Treach. Pac would have probably pulled a gun on Puff like he did at the soul train awards. Outlawz got NO CLOUT!!!! Plus Roddy murdered Yak and Napoleon and his brother refuse to admit it was deliberate. Yasmyn Fula exposed these frauds.

Napoleon is always a great interviewee so good looking out for Vlad for bringing him on several times but I don't understand the goal of revisiting the beef and drama between biggie and pac as if that's what people are looking for. Opening these old wounds ain't going to help people move forward and provide closure especially if the interviews possibly stir up friction and tension from other people/characters who were alongside and witness to the drama. There are a lot of things that I think people from both camps learned from the whole tragedy and that's what should be discussed but Vlad seems like he's instigating or trying to catch interviewers saying something inflammatory for views and likes whenever he asks questions about he said/she said. Just focus your interviews on positivity, growth, the vision of the future of hip hop, what could be, what might have been. And there's a wealth of things Napoleon in particular can provide insight on, not just bickering beef from a period in hip hop where a lot of young artists were making mistakes. I'm sure Napoleon can instead speak on issues we're still struggling with today as a society and the possible solutions but naw, Vlad trying to be a drama queen.

Snoop definitely played both sides. In Vlad’s Toure video, Toure recalls how he was interviewing Snoop and was at his house and saw a huge picture on Snoop’s wall with Snoop, Puffy and Snoop’s dad all in big fur coats. I figure Snoop feels akin to Puffy because both their dads were pimps. I don’t think he has any loyalty to Pac whatsoever. So….yeah.

Pac was a real friend to Snoop, he was there with him towards the end of his trial, that’s also another reason Pac went sour on Dre because he never showed up. Pac also gave Snoop advice on staying with his girl, when everyone else was saying to leave and just be reckless. Like Napoleon said, he wasn’t mad at someone for being Bigs friend, the switching up is what irks him. Snoop be all over the place now in interviews. But honestly, all these dudes were kids man, so young to be going through such a roller coaster life.. I firmly believe they all would have made it passed this, but the streets are unforgiving.
@aaronbrown43664 жыл бұрын
Knowledge Seeker That’s a fair assumption. I believe him and Biggie would have definitely made amends, for probably the same qualities as a man as you see in him. He was filled with a lot of anger, no doubt, but two things were at factor, 1) Deathrow, particularly Suge put a battery in his back, Pac was already the type of person to ride at any moment, he didn’t need any gas being poured on him, that’s exactly what Suge was doing. 2) He was using this as a ploy to get money, obviously he was made about the situation, but all of this was thought out. Pac was smart enough to know what was going on. He may have never looked at Big the same way before the Quad studio shooting, but he would have made it right. Hell, he was on his way there before he died with the One Nation project. I believe that project alone would have led to some sort of lowering of the guns, because he would have been getting feedback from more and more people preaching and trying to find a resolution, particularly from the east coast vs hearing nothing but nonsense from Suge etc. I agree with you about Puffy tho, Pac would have never liked him because he was a fuckin snake and even Big had his issues with him at the time of his death, but I really believe Pac and Big would have made it through this. He even said he didn’t hate him, he still looked at him like a little brother and just needed to “spank him”. Too bad we’ll never know.
