The gates alone are worth it. Someone said they cost 760 Canadian donuts to buy alone. So that's like 500 American pesos. Not cheap at all!

I purchased a Weber 2022 genesis last night but saw this in the morning and canceled the Weber order. What did it for me was that my requirements got me into their top model, and this was less. Also, I find the Weber side burner useless. I’ll use this one’s side burner all the time. Plus the black is so nice.

This grill is the worst. Bought it 4 months ago. The sear station lights once every 10 tries. You are suppose to turn the knobs and the grill lights. That works once in every 5 times. Cranked the heat up to burn it off and a dime size of paint bubbled up off the grill. It is impossible to keep clean. The infrared cooker inside the grill takes forever to cook something. I fried calling customer service 3 times and I was on hold waiting a hour all 3 times. I would love to have my Weber anniversary edition with sear burner back. Knew I should of bought a Weber

Nice video btw, Gas BBQ are a pain to clean, the fat is just melting on the metal (tin). Hopefully you could let us know how good this grill is to clean over the time.

Man I got the regular prestige 500, and the infrared side burner had cast iron grates. I bought a stainless steel one but it looks nothing like the one you have on the phantom. Any idea where I can buy that grate?

@@WeekendWarriorBBQ Thanks for the link! Yea I only need the infrared side burner stainless steel grate. No way I am paying $680 for the whole set. I actually got literally two pieces of everything because the first grill I received had a major crack in the aluminum cast tub, so they sent me a completely new grill and never bothered to pick the old one. I have a ton of extra stainless steel grates and parts. I will give them a call. Thanks again!

It’s a beautiful grill. The grates seem to come in four parts. I wonder can you fit in an enamelled flat plancha or parilla, the ones I’ve seen made for other Prestige models were wider than one of these cast iron grates, but slimmer than two combined..?

It looks like they do have one for this model. Its their reversible cast iron griddle. Its not clear if its meat to go on top of the grates or in place of the grates.

Hi, Bo. It shows grease marks and fingerprints just like stainless steel but it cleans off pretty easy. They have instructions in the manual for how to keep it looking clean

Man that looks awesome! I looked at their website and it is way out of my price range. But sure would be a nice gift. I like the way those chicken legs hang. That sizzle zone is nice with even cooking. Normally I use pellet grills. Been eyeing those Master built Gravity Series grills but the last thing I need right now is another grill! But that Napoleon is a BEAST! 🥩♨️

New subscriber to your channel and have an odd question: with the cast steel grates, do you season/maintain them like cast iron or like stainless steel? My Phantom Prestige 500 is coming this week and really looking towards it. Will be interesting going from a Saber to this.

Hey Mike , it’s a beauty, I have the Napoleon LEX it only has 3 main burners , a rear burner and it has the sizzle on the side as well as on the other side is a place for drinks like a mini cooler, just add ice , you are gonna love the sizzle , throw a steak on then finish it up on the main . That upper rack you have is neat I wonder if they will sell it separately, I could use that. Enjoy, enjoy

I use the side burner a lot. Anything that drips down is almost instantly evaporated. It’s hasn’t been an issue for me.
