They really do look brilliant. Such an amazing collection. How many years has it taken to paint up this entire collection?

Hi, it’s been an intense four years or so, a few bits have come from eBay ( mostly my Calpe Prussians which may appear on the next battle report ) the balance have been painted by myself or my friend Kevin who is a brilliant painter. I can manage about a battalion a week when I’m on form, but have had the odd period of Napoleonic overload, oh yes and the family get a vote too (sometimes!). I have several 28mm collections and decided finally I would take the plunge on 28mm having started 40 years ago with the Airfix Waterloo set and done 15mm naps as my first foray into “proper war gaming with minifigs......

Would this be considered a British Cavalry Division, 2 Brigade?
@JP-ml4zh4 жыл бұрын
Ive three British brigades, the 1st Household with two life guard and one horse guard regiment (missing the dragoon guards at present), the 2nd heavy with two of the three heavy dragoon regiments including the Scots greys (missing the sixth), and a light brigade of two light Dragoons and on hussar regiment. I think two, defn one of these regiments are new since the video. My forces are based on those at Quatre Bras (but with a few more thrown in to do parts of Waterloo), in those battles the British cavalry didn’t fight in divisions but just brigades I believe.
