Napom went beast mode but played right into Zekka's plan. We saw it with Codfish vs Bataco in 2018, and it turns out that doing what your opponent clearly wants you to do will play into their plan. Battles are about stamping yourself on the set and overwhelming your opponent, if they want you to be the monkey king, you probs should expect them to have a counter to monkey king.

Yep. It was pretty clear who would win this battle right from the start. Napom always wings it. Lack of prep and planning is pretty evident. He's constantly breaking flow by adding unnecessary fillers (cuz he needs that time to plan the drop). Napom is an absolute beast , let's get that right, but when you have to compete against bbxers like Colaps , River, Footbox, you can't freestyle your way up there. P.S : Just my opinion xD

10000000% That's why Napom's GBB 2015 is a flash in the pan. He's toast. He lacks the dedication. Unless you're the Harry Mack of freestyling or Saro of loopstation, you're not beating today's beat boxers Napom. You'll compete like John McEnroe and Pete Sampras do in the over 50 league play. Even Alem and Alexhino, I think are on their way out. Too many new ones are upcoming with more complexity and musicality. No way he's beating Den, Wing, Collaps, Zekka, Zero, River, D-low, Improver, ShowGo, etc.

I was looking forward to napom vs zekka because I thought it would be a very hot battle, but it was amazing. Wait, zekka, if you say LOOK AT THE CROUD BOY in that routine, I'll be so excited! I love D-low's reaction to this. And I was even more excited when napom played one of my favorite beats. This battle was hotly contested from start to finish. I was hoping to see a battle as hot as the one D-low showed in 2019. Both sides showed what they are made of!

First time I watched this, I thought zekka. But re-watching this - I think napom, personally. His versatility is truly understated. I think it almost comes off as too easy for him, and maybe that counted against him in a way. The complexity of what he's doing is absolutely crazy. Zekka just has better structure overall, though for sure.

Structure trumps everything like 21 blackjack. It's all about structure. If this was a freestyling off the top, different story. You have to perfect your craft and practice. I didn't realize how long Collaps prepared every round methodically to win GBB. Months and months of practice. Napom just boards a plan and says esh. I'm winging it. Garbage in = Garbage out. Usain Bolt doesn't get to be the greatest sprinter of all time by just showing up to the track and say hell with it, I'm going to run 100 m and I"ll beat everyone. Napom has a block in his mind and he's done. Lazy ass lazy do. His posse with Kenny and Gene won't prepare him to win GBB in the future.
