also as a white country boy from north east tn on the ky line I bang hard to some nappy. they always song that positive music. they ain't ever sold their souls. they stuck to their roots. they could have easily wrote more mainstream trash and made way more and had a bigger fan base. but they stuck to the truth and wrote about love unity pride and not being perfect. they sing about the life we in poverty live and breath daily no matter our race, in the south we are labelled as the racist bad guys, but the truth is we are closer in the south as races then anywhere else because we all are just a Buncha poor hillbillies black white brown yellow. in the south the poor stick together. we raise one another up. this music resonates and speaks to me. keep it up.
