Not at all actually. I haven't signed a single tenant broker agreement yet and I still get my commission from the landlords or the tenants, it's just as easy as ever because the nar hasn't affected rentals

@@AndyColeman thank you, I plan to follow your same structure, starting with one lease a month and then scaling my business from there. Adding all the clients into a CRM and turning them into deals later. It is a marathon not a sprint but I will be back in a few months to make sure I update you. 24 , oil and gas salesman , Houston..

Concessions are not commissions. Concessions are not compensation to the agents. Wrong advice in this video.

I know it's confusing but If you actually watched the video you would know I never said that. I said the concession goes to the buyer who then pays the buyers agent. Try rewatching it.

This is wrong. What's going to happen is people are going to go back to NOT having a buyers agent at all because there is SO much more information out there to inform yourself. I haven't used buyers agents for years. I just tell the realtor I won't pay a 6% commission as part of the price and let them figure out how they want to deal with it. I usually pay 1-2%. That's what actually going to happen now. Just like the REST of the world (where 1-2% realtor fees are the norm). You're a realtor, you can't be trusted to give us good advice on this.

The problem is it's actually very hard to be an agent. I know it sounds like a lot, 3%, but most agents only do a few deals a year because it's difficult to actually close transactions. Most of the time agents do a lot of work and don't get paid. I don't agree with the system but that's the way it's been for years.

Realtors reality. You should not have price fixed a 6 percent. I never was offered a chance to negotiate commission. It was always stated as”the going rate “. I think a lot of realtors will retire. Anyone I use in the future is going to pay dearly for the sins of my past experiences. Sucks to be you now. How do you like being governed?

Do you mean as a seller or buyer? I negotiate with sellers all the time on the commission and always get 5%... So for me it was never 6%
