I agree with you Owamie. Most people on tik tok kept coming for Onezwa saying the recipe is different what not and she’s not the first person to do anything etc. People missed the fact that Onezwa was concerned with the pattern of creation gore like you said, she makes mozzarella today, 2 days later Nara’s family “craves” something with mozzarella, she makes Boba Tea today, the following fay Nara miraculously craves boba (that doesn’t fit on a straw) 😂 So thats where Onezwa’s main concern was. I feel like they were quick to judge and come at Onezwa without understanding her line of thought. Don’t get me wrong, both are talented creators and they are definitely not the first to make anything like Onezwa said. But a little credit like you said Owamie would have been the best approach for Nara.” So i was thinking of ideas of what to do next and I came across a talented creator Onezwa who made Boba and i decided to also gather inspiration from that and other creators to make Boba myself since i also like it… “ so Nara and her family bone mostly “crave” and run out. And then make from scratch 🤷🏾♀️ going to the store isn’t normally something mentioned.!Personally i feel Nara at times isn’t realistic. Making toothpaste because you ran out, im amazed at how they casually have all these ingredients in the house to make all these things…. There is nothing wrong with saying “ I saw a recipe online of making Toothpaste so today i want to try that out at home…” Side note: I saw that another creator also made lollipop 6-6-24 before Nara made one recently (not saying she copied her but im not saying she didn’t either) Lucky goes in a trip and Nara makes lollipops too, ones with gum obviously (for variation). The same creator, talented for that matter, is known for also making things from scratch and she even tells a backstory or a little history of whatever shes making, very unique if you ask me. The day Nara and her husband ran out of lotion or cream ( I stand to be corrected) , days if not weeks prior this creator le ene made body butter lotion… (again im not saying shes the first person to make it) but its just coincidental how Nara’s videos come immediately after these other creators’ work…without credit of inspiration…. Oh yahh her name is Nzila Miyoba. Both Nara and Onezwa as well as Nzila are talented in their own right… but i feel we should give credit where its due…. All that is entirely my observation and opinion. Meaning you can agree or disagree, respectfully of course.

I appreciate this comment because I was initially irritated by her completely going from speaking like a valley girl, to speaking in the same monotone voice that Onezwa uses and stealing her recipes but her pattern of following what onezwa creates is even worse, and far more diabolical.

Owami this reminds me of a situation where a child tells older people that someone did something to them, then the adults accuse the child saying how could you, that adult could never do that to you, they are such a good person. Then the child gets dismissed because the other person is 'Bigger' than them, and probably gets punished even.

1. Nara never claimed what she cooks are her ideas 2. You do not need to give credit, Onezwa naye doesn't credit the source of her inspiration 3. You talk like Nara randomly left that comment as a frequent viewer, which isn't true. Onezwa's followers were constantly comparing her to Nara, even after she asked them several times not to. Nara was tagged on that post and left that comment as an encouragement to Onezwa. Doesn't it seem suspicious that she deleted the only video where Nara recognized her? 4. Onezwa uyadina, she probably wrote that letter herself to draw more traction to her platform and it worked!

After that I kept seeing naras videos being shared and I couldn’t place my finger on why I didn’t like her content and now I realise its because I don’t appreciate when someone is not being authentic and something about her videos was off and felt eerie. My heart goes out to this beautiful woman. I'm sure it is deeply disheartening and deflating to know your ideas are being stolen with no credit given back to you. It is hurtful seeing her cry. Unfortunately, this is the reality that those on social media face. Most videos produced are inspired or flat-out stolen from someone else. This is not just in social media, it's in fashion, music, film, business, and the list goes on and on. This will never stop! The thing about Nara Smith is that she is selling an experience. The glamourous kitchen, model looks, motherhood, model husband, and how she says/presents everything. I would go out on a limb to say that probably 99.9% of the people who follow her or watch her videos are NOT following her to learn her recipes. Nara does not represent real life and Onezwa represents real life. In the world we live in, people want an experience (a false reality) and not the truth. This will CONTINUE to happen, it will be impossible to trademark content. I think it is awesome that she spoke out and I truly hope that she gets the recognition she desires and peace about this situation. It would be a BOSS move if Nara comes out and says she loves her videos and they inspire her. Give credit to whom credit is due.
@meaganharris26833 ай бұрын
I appreciate the way she was able to respectfully, intelligently, and sensibly express herself and speak her truth. She did not go on the attack or act without dignity. I feel so sad to have given this woman no support via my views as I have never seen her videos on my algorithm. I will support her now for sure. I am subscribed!

Recipes are meant to be copied and used so what's the problem. I think Nara is just a damn living breathing trigger to a lot of people. This sympathy video is a joke. Using Nara as a ploy for us to go watch her channel. She should have just told people to like share and subscribe. Nara owes nobody nothing.

You people are actually delusional oh here! Social media is really making people delusional. Onezwa did not invent anything on the internet, 2 same videos is not “stealing”. Onezwa herself did she give credit to the person she got the boba recipe from? Because I know damn well she did t just come up with the recipe like she said! Even giant brands like Zara have brands like SHEIN making the same items at different price point for different customers (they have 2 different audiences & the people that resonate with each brand will shop from that particular brand) I’m confused as to why Nara can’t change how she speaks if she so chooses. Every celebrity has had an evolution damn well even Kim Kardashian speaks different from 2010. Onezwas issue is with TikTok & not paying its creators the same in different regions. Her comparing brand deals is crazy of course she might not make the same as a creator from the States. You Owamie make gossip content, did you invent gossip content? Did you give credit to shaderoom/ instablog Naija or TMZ ? This is ridiculous rest abeg.

Ummm how is it a surprise if they requested it this morning? 😅😂 it’s just weird that she pretends her content is 100% real
@RoseMohutsiwa3 ай бұрын
Boba tea content goes as far back as 6 yrs ago o even further... so both ladies stole content if we wanna talk about who made it first. Until someone invents something new and unique and has never been done by anyone in the world then we can have the discussion of who stole what from who. There is an actual trend which is normal on social media of creators making the same things at the same time... we the audience then decide who did it better and follow that person more. If you want to be in a competitive market you cannot be a cry baby... if the kitchen is too hot and someone else does something u do better, then step out the kitchen. Like she said she would not have had an issue if Nara was not paid. But she has an issue because she is not paid because of the county she stays in . All content creators do the same things and get paid according to the coutry they stay in.

But Boba tea was just an example, she is talking about a pattern of someone stealing her ideas. She is hurt about it and knows that there is nothing she can do, cause vele what is she gonna do with her less that 1m followers?. And from her statement she is not mad at the lady, she is is just dying for recognition of her hard work.

And us slow learners think that this whole thing is about tea, it's not about tea, but about her ideas getting stolen.
@RoseMohutsiwa3 ай бұрын
@hermiamalungane7952 she herself stole alot of other people's receipies. Peoples receipies methods of cooking are also content and if you are not the first to cook that meal, then you have stolen content. Is she crediting them in each of her videos? Did she credit the first content creator of Babo tea? No she did not. Nara is not the first person she is doing this to just by the way...
