There is no cut/scarring on the skin. The eye does look very red post surgery which can take a while to fade. sometimes scarring can be seen on the white of the eye where the incision was made.

Hi, squint surgery can be done at any age. Another alternative is botox injection. An assessment needs to be done though to make sure the procedure would not cause any other issues such as double vision. You need to see an orthoptist for an assessment.
