Mark, nice review. It took me a while to get into this movie but I eventually got into it and enjoyed it. Patric, Liotta and Bridges were quite good in this and Carnahan did a nice job bringing the realism of undercover cop work and the drug subculture here. 4K picture was really good on my tv. Arrow does such a nice job with these releases.

Thanks Mark. Tuesday release date I read the Blu-Ray.commm reviews of the 4k & 1080 editions & chose to pick up the later at my local vid shop later that day. It's not the 1st time I've done that with Arrow Ltd's. My first viewing of this film & was blown away with the quality of the whole production & disc & the whole package. Being a hard watch at times is to be expected here I think, but nevertheless is validated by the story's "as it is" intention to move the audience . It's been awhile since I've had the desire to express myself about a new release. Considering the low budget & the director's 1st, - congrats all around on this one! The extras disc was also a treat now that I've watched a selection of the interviews. Prior to this Arrow involvement, I never imagined I would ever even rent this movie but man - this is an Arrow selection to be viewed & treasured for the duration! Funny how a gut hunch sometimes proves to be gold. ( Much like " Sisu" movie - pun intended) Another 1080 disc that was prefered over the 4K as was Arrow's "True Romance".
