But it was a nice point in Nature Pants to see Squidward holding up SpongeBob's discarded clothes to offer them back to him. Squidward actually shown he cared about SpongeBob but funny enough he stood there watching him get dressed and I am certain that he was just observing to make sure SpongeBob put his clothes back on. As SpongeBob shown not to mind Squidward staring at him the entire time.

Nature Pants made my day for being the first episode where Squidward sees SpongeBob naked. He saw him naked after SpongeBob took off his clothes at 4:41. Even though Squidward only mentions him taking his pants off he clearly knew SpongeBob took off his underwear too. He pulls them down at the same time. Then, he sees him naked again when he enters his pineapple home for his welcome home party.
