The scene where SpongeBob and Patrick taking care of the clam brought tears to my eyes and reminded me of how simple my life used to be wen I was a kid watching SpongeBob in the 2000s. The fact that SpongeBob and Patrick are willing to raise a clam who may have lost its parents shows how much of an amazing soul that SpongeBob and Patrick have even though Patrick fell short on his part and watched a little too much TV😂. That episode is one of the masterpieces wen SpongeBob was at its prime.

What doesn't make sense in this episode is the fact Patrick says he goes to work, but doesn't have a job. He just watches TV at his house. Spongebob is the one who has a job at the Krusty Krab, but he never went to work once in this episode. I understand Spongebob was the mother and Patrick was the father, but it would have made more sense if Spongebob went to work and Patrick was the stay at home parent, since Spongebob is the one that does work.
