I love Iris based fragrances. I think that they smell very classy. Givenchy Gentleman EDP, Valentino Uomo Intense, Dior Homme Intense and the original Dior Homme are some of my favorite fragrances that I own. They're the type of fragrances that I don't care if nobody else likes them because I just love the way they smell. I can't wait to get my hands on the new Narciso Rodriguez!

its so close to V Uomo Intense but this is a bit less densely sweet and a bit muskier so I think its a hair bit more versatile.

I’ve been wearing this on milder summer days. No problem. It’s a pleasure to wear. Can handle the heat with its milder sweetness. 👍🏻. This fragrance is amazing. I just got my VU and VUI last tuesday and they're amazing. Impossible to find in my country so i had to buy it in EU.....luckly a friend that lives there was coming to visit and brought my bottles!! There aren't too many designer fragrances that can beat DHI. In fact, IMO, there are only two. Those two would be BDC Parfum and Dior Homme Parfum...and I go back and forth on whether or not I prefer BDC Parfum over DHI. Dior Homme Parfum is the best designer fragrance I've ever smelled, and a top five fragrance in my collection. The other two also sit in my top 10 favorite for my collection.

Narciso rodriguez bleu noir edp I've found to be very challenging, it begins ok but i get something that smells like women's hair dye and the dry down kind of became like female sweat and very musky and some earthy vetiver and i don't particularly like it much at the moment but that could change after some wearing of it i guess, I'm wondering if i should of got the bleu noir extreme instead

Narciso Rodriguez for Him by Narciso Rodriguez is even more challenging lol. Narciso Rodriguez line can be polarizing and blind buying can be a mistake. It's definitely a case of sampling before purchasing. From what I gather Narciso Rodriguez Bleu Noir is not quite as strong, but...

Howdy! I just got into the world of cologne and I figured I couldnt go wrong with an everyday scent of Narciso Rodriquez bleu noir EDP. Im looking for something I can wear all throughout the year - so I bought a bottle of NR Bleu Noir EDP. Im also just bought Spicebomb extreme for those late night events. So far im starting with those 2. Any suggestions for my beginning rotation? I feel like an oldschool guy and have been looking at Bleu de Chanel EDP, Tom Ford Hombre Leather, Fahrenheit Parfum, Dior Eau Sauvage Parfum, Sauvage Elixir, and PDM Layton. Im also really intrigued by the PDM Sedley, or Versace Eros EDP for a warmer weather all day scent. Any suggestions? Much love

Has NOTHING to do with Bleu Noir and everything to do with Valentino Uomo Intense - its a hard tell which one is better. This Parfum projects slightly less, is slightly less sweet, a bit smoother and muskier and without the satisfyingly dense lipsticky vibe you get off the top from VUI and Dior Homme Intense. Like Ash says, its smells great and what makes this nice is that nothing really sticks out like a sore thumb - I just find it a touch sweet and that if it were even slightly less sweet than it is, it'd be an ever better fragrance.

@Tripttt hey! We 2 years further since my comment and I can say that, IF you are an iris fan, its not redundant. ARMANI has that code note that BN does not have. BN is closer to Givenchy gentleman reserve prive. Im an iris fan so I wear them al for nuances.

I have the 2012 Dior Homme, and this smells very close to me. The Dior Homme being a little brighter and it develops more on skin. At first spray it's hard to tell them apart.

@@filip_lindberg1112 I think they are very similar, but perhaps the Dior Homme original is more pleasant to wear over time. The Bleu Noir feels a bit more heavy to me. And it's a classic!
