Im suprised anyone involved in this case are not assasinated by now, even Pablos son or anyone involved in the case. Escobar did have alot of loyal people, sure their boss are dead, but those people must have lost many things ever since Pablo died, plus their competitors and enemies, dont they have grudge? My point was that Pablo Escobar was ruthless, so was his enemy, im suprised there was actual peace aftermath, or maybe, they followed the Cali "no war" strategy.

If it wasnt for USA's involvement, Pablo would have been the President of Colombia then legalize cocaine by regulating it and put a tax alongside which imo can avoid all those unwanted and unnecessary deaths (i.e the nonexistent war on drugs). And just for the record, Pablo didnt declare war on Colombia. He simply accepted the war brought onto him and his business by US Government and Comlombian Government. Note the difference!

Murphy arrive Colômbia when Pablo turn himself in to the Catedral he don't know much about Pablo's history he's another one making money because Pablo Escobar
@samt71894 жыл бұрын
I dont know what to think of these two. What are they really proud of? the war on drugs? Should we be calling them heroes? because after Pablo's death the amount of cocaine smuggled didn't decrease, instead increased. The guy these two hate the most is the reason they are able to travel, get paid and speak on these seminars. Steve Murphy's picture with a medal tells you pretty much everything about what this mission really was to him. The war on drugs didn't end. Drug use has gotten only worse since the end of Medellin and Cali cartel. US Gov't didn't bother with the Cartels until they realized how billions of dollars were leaving their country and going into Colombia. The Govt just used them and then made a scapegoat out of them when the time came. Clearly so much corruption existed back then and still exists till this day. Prohibition on drugs was a move made by a racist govt which benefits off of minorities. look at the US Prisons they are privately owned businesses profiting from minorities. It was and is all a business. If you look at Miami's history, it was a complete different place. Miami is only Miami today because of the Cartels. Cocaine cowboys brought so much money into Miami that entirely changed the city's reputation. Back then south florida beach was where the old people hung out but look now. The high rise buildings were built with drug money and US govt didn't seem to have a problem with that until politics got involved. And as for Pablo, he was no saint he was definitely a bandit who also got himself a reputation of a terrorist but why don't these two mention the involvement of colombian General Marquez, politician Alberto Santofimio along with Cali cartel's in their interviews. These two also have false facts about timing of Griselda's death and La Quica's involvement in the plane crash. According to Juan Pablo Escobar the plane crash was orchestrated by one of the Casteno brothers, not La Quica. The reason La Quica was imprisoned because he didn't snitch. Pena also talks about the sicario killing the reporter Diana, but in fact she was shot by the police during the raid, it is confirmed by the colombian govt. what i personally noticed is that till this day, Pablo Escobar's name is so big that it attracts lots of viewers. So many books and documentaries have been released. Some Genuine, wanting to share their story where as others who just want to ride the wave and make profit from it regardless of it being true or not. Prime example is this guy name Roberto claiming to be Pablo escobar's secret son and if you watch his videos you will notice how much emphasis he puts on buying his book where he talk about "knowing pablo's hidden stash". lol how Pathetic. Then we have this movie "Loving Pablo, Hating Escobar" based on Virginia Vallejo memoir which was a flop, bad acting and shot in english, it tells you pretty much what you already know. Lots of people have tried to make attempts to benefit off of Pablo's name and i get a feeling that these are doing the same. If it wasn't for Narcos they wouldn't be here right now. Narcos is a great show and I absolutely enjoyed watching it because of it's direction but sadly they also didn't come correct with most of the stories. It is narrated by Dea agents so you only get to hear their side of the story. Sad! check out Juan Pablo Escobar's post about 28 things that Narco got it wrong, you will be surprised.

I find it funny that they hated the guy and are now making money off of telling stories from his life... go figure

You mean hating a sociopathic mass murderer for what he's done and telling his horrible story to the world to educate them about the consequences of narco terrorism? Yeah, sounds pretty unreasonable.. to whom?

Considering they are talking about a narco-trafficker/murderer etc they should sound a little more serious and yet they come off like clowns! Thousands of people were murdered and they had the Country come down on their knees! Be a little more serious in these conferences!
