I totally agree. It was only in certain scenes where he did cruel acts that I didn't approve or like him. But basically for the rest of the series I was 100% rooting for him and was very sad when seeing to what he had come down to in the last chapters.

Yes, we brazilians do not speak Spanish. We speak Portuguese. You can realize by his accent comparing to anyone who speaks spanish. When I've been in the US twice as an exchange student it was easy to identify a brazilian speaking English.

Not Really, his accent is way off and one of pablo's main characteristic was his accent and his way of talking overall, he doesn't even get close to that of you want to see a very good personification a Pablo you gotta see andres parra acting in the soap opera Pablo Escobar el patron Del mal, he reeeeeally reeeeeally nails it even the way he used to breathe whilst he was giving a "speech", expressions, he has it all, its almost perfect.

He was 10 years older. Just like his cousin gustavo says on the show "you need to control everything". The main reason he loved her was because he had complete control over her life and groomed her from a young age.

I had the luck of being Wagner's teacher here in Medellín at UPB university. When I asked why they were learning Spanish and why they were at Medellín he told us he was learning in order to get a character for a Netflix series. I didn't believed him, but when Narcos came out and I saw Wagner's name in the open credits, couldn't believe it. Man, I am amazed with Wagner, I didnt know he was brazilian; when I first saw him in Narcos as Pablo, I didnt have any doubt that he was born in Colombia. I am from Peru and I know how people in Colombia speaks. Incredible acting!, but not only that, his presence on screen was outstanding, his energy and power without even saying a word. So, he started with the language which is hard in itself and then start building up the character....

He was in that movie Elysium and he had an accent which I assumed was Spanish or hispanic, Latino whatever. I didn't know he was Brazilian but to find out he learned Spanish for the role and speak it like he always has is incredible.

i knew he was a Brazilian actor from his other earlier movies...so, when i heard he's playing Escobar on Narcos, i just assumed he's always been bilingual. WOW!!! to learn he just started studying the language AFTER he found out he was cast in this project...and to pull it off (although, i learned that some local COLOMBIAN critics pointed out most of the non-colombian actors, including Wagner, did have accents...but, still, to those other general non-spanish speaking audience..Wagner nailed it).

What? For a realistic Pablo Escobar, then you should watch "EL PATRÓN DEL MAL"... Much better interpretation and the resemblance was awesome... Narcos was fine and Moura is a good actor, but his Spanish sucked hard and his Pablo Escobar wasn't exactly accurate
