Love it so far but my DAW crashes every time I put a second instance of the product into a project. (Running Nuendo 11 on Windows 10)

I first saw this and thought Portal and thought it was a bit of a knock off, but when going through the video it's really the only thing that seems similar. There seems to be a debate on the pricing for Narcotic and I have to say the amount of detail this plugin provides certainly seems justified on the pricing. Giving that Portal is $149 without any sales running, this one seems like an alternative option to it, but with its own uniqueness. However, Narcotic is currently listed on sale so without, the pricing is close, but I think Narcotic is like I mentioned an alternative to Portal. For me, Narcotic looks pretty interesting, but since I already have Portal and Thermal to go with it, I don't think Narcotic is something I need. But for someone looking for an alternative to Portal, this seems like an easy choice especially if price is a concern at the moment.

Thanks for this, I learned a lot. It’s unfortunate that the 6 other videos that came up as tutorials were just someone changing presets and hitting various randomizers. That’s a shame because this is complex software and it would help to have different perspectives in proper tutorials. I'm not quite sure how this all works but it might help to put out feelers to some of the more gifted music software content producers to get some proper tutorials, which might up your sales of what is a unique product. Looking at the content for your other plugin Rocket Fuel it seems to be more of the same. I don’t mean to sound condescending but promotion is king.

Well, the video has 25 likes and 1 dislike. But in the comments Carlos P. says he'll pay $49. (Seriously, the expense in time and talent to custom program these vsts is a big hurdle, and although everyone has a budget, it would be like offering lunch money for a talented artist to make you a custom painting, the price can't come down unless the word of mouth gets out, so to people like Carlos, go out and promote the good stuff and then when the company or product is more well known, your comment makes better sense, but for an unknown company its seems a bit blunt). Personally, for me guys, you've sold me on the work ethics and devotion to your craft. Albeit, I had to get thru 11 minutes of the video to be convinced, but this is cutting edge work and you deserve to be supported. Count me as a new buyer. What sold me I think was the ability to step-sequence every device with 11 parameters. That shows the attention to detail I look for in a company..

Well it’s certainly not me putting the dislike. As a new company releasing their first product, they should make the price lower to spread the word and create base customers. I agree with the level of attention to a certain point, there is no demo, which, at that price should be the minimum. Was also Looking around for some reviews there is none, or just one which is a bit amateurish, mandated by the company. I’m hesitating , the product seems nice but pricey. if they can’t convince an hesitating customers, there is something wrong somewhere. A 99$ support is not a small one.

Can anyone with some chemistry knowledge tell me which molecule is shown at the top bar next to the "Shroom Magic" button? The simplicity reminds me of the DMT molecule, but it doesn't look like a tryptamine.

I prefer FL Studio for my workflow, since I like the MIDI implementation in that DAW, moreso than Reaper's. So here's my issue: FL Studio is not running with it - there are artifacts contantly - both in render and live. The CPU usage is down around 10 or so in many cases, although I realize that meter itself isn't a good gauge. In FL Studio I often have 20 plugins and do max out the CPU eventually, but no glitching until it hits the red. Meanwhile I tested Narcotic in Reaper and its okay there (these non-preset-related clicks are not present). My soundcard is set with a buffer that normally gives latency but handles most of what I can throw, even things like Diva which can be a hog, or Phaseplant which you can tell to insane things (I can of course crash these out under extreme circumstances, but most of the existing presets will work in them without overload). Any ideas?

If there was an internal (and ext sidechain) envelope follower for all the parameters this would've been an instant buy for me 🤷♂️

I find this very interesting. I have a LOT of stuff like this, Portal, Thorus, etc., so does anyone have good data on the diffs between this and say Portal or Thorus? Good video I think, I'm more into info that polish, so I thought it was pretty straightfoward and well done.
