Great interview. Two legends squaring off to out weird each other. And I was lucky enough to have a front row seat for this interview. This was backstage at the Vans Warped Tour in 2009. I was hanging with Nard as we were talking about my upcoming stage adaptation of Hard Core Logo that he would do a cameo in. At 6:20 you can hear me yelling from off camera "it's not kosher" and then at 7:20 you can see me lounging in a comfy chair.

The love hate relationship between these two give me hope. We need a new interview. Fatty is launching his solo album on 24 April 2019, so make it happen Nardwuar.

Nardwuar is a legend in his own right, & I think he's a lot more punk than most so called punks. He not only has his own band, but he's diligent & meticulous in his research of the people he's interviewing, digging up obscure history thought long forgotten & likely embarrassing some people in the process. He can't help how his voice sounds, but he is who he is & there's no one else like him, so at least he can claim that distinction! Most people have at least a clone or several somewhere in the world, people who look & sound exactly alike, but Nardwuar is one of those people who are one of a kind. I think it's messed up how people make fun of him when he can't help how he sounds. It also says more about the person who's doing it & how insecure they are. Nardwuar is cool as f*** & haters can f*** off if they hate him. Go find something you like instead of wasting your time on what you hate! It's common sense. Rock on Nardwuar! Keep it up!

punklover99 that's a good point. I read an interview with Stza where he talked about going to Canada but said Brad Logan didn't get approved to go but Stza and I think also maybe Ezra got approved. I'm not sure if they actually ended up going without Brad or not cause I'm not sure what year that was. Also don't know how/if border crossing policies may have changed since then But I do know that I've seen videos of Stza playing in Europe and I even saw LoC played Moscow Russia since the SFH split. Not sure of the varying requirements to get into different countries, but man I bet a Stza and Nardwuar would be fucking awesome!

When Propagandhi first got signed to Fat Wreck they would joke about the fact that they were even on that label. they wrote metal infused punk with political ideals from the get-go. several years afterwards, NOFX all of a sudden quits writing songs about dick & fart jokes and become political. i wish nardwuar would've brought up Propagandhi in this interview.
