When I was in class 9th our school took us to a edu trip to IITG. HC Verma sir also came to give a speech that day. Some Research Conclave was going on that week. That day we ate in the same mess

Reminds me of IIT Roorkee days...I always used to extra butter for 5 rs in the morning and curd for 5 rs in the afternoon. Never understood why there were 2 kind of rice ( jeera and normal ) ...after joining gym being a vegetarian plate was full of sprouts and porriage..
