In the grand scheme of the canon, Daredevil went on holiday to California during a time in his life when he was happy and didn't have to deal with Kingpin and that's why he was more upbeat in _She-Hulk_ ... and we'll say the holiday season in _Hawkeye_ plus the adoptive daughter stuff in _Echo_ had him acting different due to some depressive complicated feelings? 😝

He doesn't have a missing eye though. In _Echo_ we see see that the bullet didn't hit his eye, it hit the skin around it (super convenient, isn't it?) and he had a bandage for a while, but by the end of the show he took the bandage off. He has slight scarring by the eye, and you can still see the scarring here.

She Hulk Daredevil was a comic actuate Daredevil. I wish people would shut up about that. They were never going to make the Daredevil show like She Hulk. But his character was still accurately portrayed in the genre of She Hulk's show.

There was a question in people's minds about the nature of the show especially after the version of Fisk we saw in Hawkeye and how they doubled down on that version in Echo. It is reasonable to have had this concern about Born Again. Now they have put those concerns to rest - nonsensei

I enjoyed daredevil in she hulks just didn't like that they made him comedic

I really like Charlie Cox in this role, but the comedy did sort of detract from the more intense, rageful version we saw before in the Netflix show - nonsensei

Daredevil is not always dark and depressed, he has light hearted moments in the comics.

There was nothing wrong with how Daredevil was depicted in She-Hulk. It was perfectly appropriate for the context of that show, which was a sitcom. This, not being a sitcom, was never going to be like She-Hulk. That was literally never on the table.

Daredevil in she hulk absolutely was line with the Netflix daredevil. People act like Netflix daredevil is Batman who’s always brooding and serious. Obviously she hulk is a more overt comedy but people acting like it was a betrayal of the character are just silly.
