Bantan has a relative beyond Mongolia, rivel soup. It can be made with just broth if you do not have meat available or are vegetarian. The flour on the crumbs helps to thicken the soup. Real comfort food. Its ingredients are only limited to the imagination and budget. Put spices in it, and it will clear your head (illness, or infliction). We ate it on cook fires when the work was cold and time was short. So good... Thank you for your videos. They warm my spirit.

I love your English style, and I am learning a lot about Mongolian from your videos. Showing translations of names in Mongolian letters along with english would be awesome and fascinating, and add an extra value for learning the language in the videos!

I made this and it was amazing! Each bite was better than the last. For meat I only had a small cut of beef, next time I'd like to try it with a shank or some mutton.

I just started making arrangements for three weeks there in November of 2020. The prices are so reasonable it’s mind boggling and most private gers include three meals. I can’t wait to meet Nargie he’s been a huge inspiration to start adventure traveling like I did in my 20’s.

Bantan is a type of Mongolian food. I heard that in the 1980s, a Mongolian chef won a gold medal at the International Chefs' Competition by winning this dish called bantan.

Once, our bantan got the Golden Medal in Paris,at the International cousin competition. Bantan is the most popular healthy and ECO thin soup for babies:varies aged 6 months +.Vor example, the old generation,we all were grown up on this amazing soup! Better make by beef:not fat. So 4 basic ingredients: some minced in tiny pieces, almost mashed beef, water, some flour and very little...salt:almost...none of it. It's like a broth in the Western style. For the adults,especially,for...men - puts right away on the feet from the...hangover...hehe.
