Khailmag and ghee are the most respectful and beneficial dishes of Mongolian Traditional kitchen. They are the treasures of food culture as well. With Nargie's amazing attitude towards Mongolian food, let's take a look at how this dairy product dish cooked in a typical family in hoodoo.

As an Indian I had no idea ghee is so integral to another culture as well that too a place so far away. Very nice. Yes, Ghee is by far the best form of fat to consume. It's mixture short and medium chain fatty acids unlike unhealthy modern refined oils. Good luck to you and your country.

I can feel the emotions while you eat this. Food from our Childhood is the best! This got me Nostalgic for my own childhood and the foods I ate back then, McDonald's Pancakes with Sausage! We only got to eat it about 2 times a month, but it was one of the things I use to look forward to the most back then. These days, I rarely eat McDonald's, but when I do, it always takes me back to my childhood.

Umm, tbh, it is not actually a very best time to visit Mongolia because of the coronavirus in China. We share borders with China and it is possible that many Chinese infected people had entered to our country or some merchants might’ve brought the virus. They closed down the schools, events and lunar new year, so, yeah. But I’d definitely encourage you to visit Mongolia in summer, i hope this virus will be gone before summer.

I was curious about the health benefits, if they were legit. It seems ghee has about half the amount of saturated fat than butter, reduced amount of lactose (So if you're lactose intolerant, could be a good substitute), and higher bio-availability of some nutrients. Not sure about spreading it on yourself, but eating it is at least seems a bit better than butter.
