While planning my trip to Japan, this was one of the first videos I watched to learn a few things about navigating the streets of Japan. I am really appreaciated this information because it is one hundred percent quality. I have recently visited Japan, I loved it and I hope to visit very soon again. Thank you very much for videos like this.

Great video. May we suggest if possible, you could also do videos on the following: 1. By Keisei train from Narita Airport to Toei Asakusa Station via Sky Access Line 2. For Japan Rail Pass holders, besides reserving shinkasen seats at ticket offices, how to reserve seats using the ticket machines. Once again, thanks a lot for all the informative videos. Really appreciated it.

My wife and I just returned from Japan and I used a vending machine to reserve and print all my tickets (a lot of them). It was fun and easy to use but here are some important tips: 1. Get to a machine early in the morning if you can to beat the crowd. 2) Try to memorize your passport #(s) because you have to enter them over and over again. Also know that each pass corresponds to the right passport holder so don’t enter the wrong person’s. 3) This is a major downside- You cannot cancel or undo (or book overlapping trips) once the tickets are issued so you have go in to a JR office to do it which is a pain because lines can be long unless you’re at a small station.

We were just in NRT. There were so many people from late flights who were trying to pick up their physical JR Pass, the JR ‘annex”/after-hours ticket office had to stay opened. (Definitely a lot of them missed the last NEX train to Tokyo.)
@serinaikeow4082 Жыл бұрын
@@nateshf9303 hi! One question if for example you did online immigration, quarantine and got the QR Code and go thru the machine at the airport, how do we get the "temporary visitor" visa stamp on our passport in order for us to show when exchange JR Pass voucher? Do we have to go thru the manned immigration section? Thanks in advance for any help
@nateshf9303 Жыл бұрын
@@serinaikeow4082 So what actually happened was that in between the quarantine (blue screen) and custom (QR code) staged which went fast, all non-Japanese citizens still need to go through an immigration officer who sat in a booth, took our thumb prints and headshots and put the paper stamp on our passports just like pre-pandemic old days. This was a very familiar step for us.
