This was by far the greatest season in all of history. Not only did we get background story on how squidward was able to gain such power but also the abuse he went through that made him who he is MASSIVE SPOILER I loved how the loss of Patrick-sama was able to help Spongebob-Chan’s ascension to 8th spatula form and with the power of Barnicule breaker he finally defeated Squidward-Sama. LARRY THE LOBSTER ARC IS NEAR.

Misty Sumo I just can't wait for sandy to finnaly get out of recovery so she can wreck planktons army with the air dome smash she learned from Larry. They didn't use her much in this arc, but they definitely hyped her coming back to the fight along with Mr. Krabs. If we're lucky we might get to see the Miss Puff vs Mr. Krabs fight like in the manga, but it didn't really add much to the plot, so the anime might skip it.

I'm worried though that spongebob gets too much plot armor. Like nothing kills this guy. Even in the king Neptune arc where he battles a God his base form was enough to beat him. Kind of ridiculous because later In the salty spitoon arc he's defeated by Lord ice cube and boo boos cover his body.

Those were really good arcs, I think Doodlebob arc edges out the Karate Island arc a a fairly good amount. Don't get me wrong Karate Island had at least two of the top ten anime fights in 2014 but Doodlebob though... such a great and complex villain, along with massive character growth and insight for SpongeBob, and of course (spoilers) ... the conclusion that left grown men crying for a literally flat character RIP DoodleBob (yes I know manga plankton is trying to put him into Kevin's corpse but that is way down the line for the anime and I'm still upset.)

When Squidward had 2 arms come outta his back it reminded me of when sasuke had the curse mark and the wings came out his back. And with Spongebob he had the fox eyes and the kyubbi cloak. So that shows this is like a remake of naruto vs sasuke
