I have a theory that the person with the green cape in the intro fighting Squidward and cutting off his arms, is actually Patrick. Patrick betrays them and becomes the main villain. You can see by the sword and the pink starfish like feet.

Nahhh not really, if you’ve read the manga then you’ll know that it’s Patrick but with a new body. Remember when Squidward turned against them ? When Patrick “died” he actually regenerated but since the damage was too great he lost his memories in return, then he became the true hash slinging slasher. He was in the middle in the Op to signify that he’s neither good nor bad.
