Excellent work. This is a complicated piece with lots of horns and choir work. There were some phrases were I think you are playing regular major and minor triad chords but they dont quite match the notes in the recording (for example, in the recording during the breakdown, it sounds like they are playing E augmented with a different base in left hand ). I think also your left hand could be more pronounced in the refrain of this song to provide a bit more counterpoint to the melody. For example in the refrain, the C# later modulating to F# in the left hand benefits from sustain and syncopated fills to enhance the dramatic storytelling. Just some feedback but would love to hear your take as well

Thanks for your comment. Although I play by ear and know nothing of music theory so I don’t understand those sections you’re talking about that sound different. I did my best with how I heard it. Also yeah sometimes it’s hard to put nice nuances when recording digitally. I normally play on a grand piano and it sounds way more epic as you can imagine

Well my friend it’s in all the keys from hell to be honest. I’ve been pushing the day I write the sheets (sorry about that) because with my sister we figured out there are about 13 different keys in this piece overall, jumping from one to the next and coming back without it being very clear as to when exactly it changes…but the beginning starts in C

I made this arrangement over 2 years ago. Took me 1 year to make cause I it was a real challenge. It was hard for the level I was at so this was the best I can do. The sound quality doesn’t help give the epicness it deserve but I just did the best at that time for me. Not every arrangement I’m gonna make is gonna be perfection. The more you practice the better you get and I hope you can clearly see my evolution in my channel
