Ok but in the almost mutiny scene, Edmund was right when he said Caspian should order them, that wasn't just him trying to be in charge. Those men needed Caspian to be strong and firm at that moment, as soon as Drinian stepped in and gave them a good yell they were like "oh man we better get back to work".

Y’all remember Narnia Prince Caspian. When Peter was fighting Caspian’s uncle. Edmund told Peter to smile for the troops. This is the same thing. They where in a bad spot and needed the authority figure to do something that would give the illusion of safety/control. That’s why Ed told Caspian to order them.

Its kinda sad when you see certain clips cut from films, because a lot of the time it gives more depth to the characters and makes them more realistic. It can even make it easier to understand them and their actions/beliefs. Like when Caspian jokes about lucy looking like a boy, we know that he meant it by what she was wearing but she might not have seen it that way. Throughout the film we know that she is self conscious about how she looks and envys her sister. Having her belief about her image indirectly enforced by the people around her makes it easier for us to understand why she feels this way. It might seem like a minor interaction but theres always a deeper meaning to it that makes the scene more impactful.

Caspian was surrounded by telmarines his whole life so he adopted their accent but later as the king of Narnia his accent transitioned to that of a narnian

That first scene is subtle but has great context. Him jokingly referring to Lucy as “a boy” is pushing her insecurity of not being as “beautiful” as her sister Susan. Also I took some props from that films set lol

I don't understand how in the mutiny scene, Edmund said, "I say we keep heading East" and then Caspian responded by saying "And when we run into Russians? It's just not that simple, Ed." But then he literally told the men thirty seconds later, "Gentlemen, I understand how you feel, but our mission is to continue East"???? Also, do Russians exist in Narnia? I don't think they do. Therefore, that scene was better off deleted, as well as the first scene (even though it was true to the book, it was still sexist). The 2nd and 4th scenes were amazing; they should have been kept in.

Ben Barnes is an English actor, so of course he has an English accent. In the second movie, the directors had Ben speak in a Spanish accent. I prefer his real accent, though.

He's portraying Caspian, a Telmarine, who was shown to have a Spanish variant accent along with every other Telmarine character in the previous film, the one where he was introduced. Adults don't randomly or completely lose their accents in 3 years. The decision to make Caspian British was a stupid one.

The director of this narnia should never film again he completely ruined the trilogy with this one wasn’t linked to the other 2 movies at all 1. When they go back to narnia for some reason caspian is still alive ? Even though narnias time is much quicker than the real worlds time and Lucy and Edmund are literally at least 1 or 2 years older so don’t know how caspian is alive 2. All of the humans don’t have accents anymore which is very strange Becasue all of the tallmarines where Spanish. 2. Aslan for some reason apparently gave these magical swords to tallmarine soldiers and caspians father even though caspians father was Litro the person who took over narnia before his bother killed him. This whole movie was a chambles

Honestly the cinematography in this movie was one of the biggest detractors considering the first movie still looks good and in my opinion the second movie deserved at the very least a nomination, it looked fantastic
