The opposite view also makes sense. There's many lines that win, so by resigning the opponent acknowledges that the position is lost, no matter what line is played.

It's a blitz game, they play like 100 games like this everyday so they might not see the underlying beauty of these checkmates yet but overall it's losing for White . Or they did seen it and moved on because it's too advanced for non-GM like us but a common checkmate pattern for them.

It's actually considered disrespectful not to resign when you know you're dead anyway. Plus it makes you look dumb carrying on when the entire world can see you've already lost. Also if you were feeling bitter with 30 mins on the clock you could make your opponent sit there for 29 minutes before moving your king into certain death lmao 😂

This was not a 40 move game and it could be possible he has studied many of these engine lines and uses them. I'm not saying he did, I'm just saying he probably did playing at that accuracy. And this is probably the first time that i guess all the moves correctly while studying all the possible variations. Missing these kinds of moves really holds my game back. I just don't see those kinds of moves. Where the opponent can't capture.

Instead of Qd1 at the end, it looks another forced mate occurs with bishop capturing on c1 first. Either the way, Daniel's choice was definitely more interesting and fun to watch

Wonderful analysis by Agadmator as usual. Was this a 3-minute blitz game? I saw the number 180 in the text. Thanks!

Daniel Norditsky’s games are the most interesting. I renner his game against Maxime last Christmas which he unfortunately lost but still it was an amazing game. Another was his game against Magnus I guess and now this.
