I think the grey and red bumpers are already too many, so I don't drive the blue one anymore...the game is hard enough already, just gets annoying with all those bumpers

​@@Ray_2112I once killed a player as a blue bumper. Guy wasn't even smoking, but he got bounced back into my spin attack like 3 or 4 times, and the machine went poof! Great fun :P

@@fernando47180 Great fun until it happens to yourself. ;) If those players who are already out of the race mess up lots of your races, it becomes annoying and takes the fun away. I love the racing in F-Zero, not the avoiding obstacles all the time...I think they overdid it with all the bumpers, it were never nearly as many in the old games.

@@Ray_2112 If you're playing to be number one, you've already lost. There are other games with fair mechanics you could play instead. The bumpers are unfair, but they were never meant to be fair; they add some randlm fun to races. I got a first place finish taken away by a blue bumper at the finish line because I got too comfortable, but I saw it as a very fun moment.

Props on that, and to think someone here commented that the Stingray struggles a lot on Fire Field when people were really saying that Golden Fox was gonna disappear and we would see a spam of Stingrays since in Fire Field you "can skip healing zone to go faster" I'm gonna try to play the King League today, and as a Golden Fox main, I'm going all in about it disappearing 🤑.

@@not_kjb Just played king cup. Fire field is actually golden foxes easiest map since it dominates the turns with its boost. Only thing that beats it is skyways. Port town 2 is a way more dangerous track.

Firefield is going to be really interesting playing on. It seems skyway has aboslutely busted shortcuts you can utilize. Beyond that, i think Blue Falcon might work really well on it. Decent enough durability and recovery, with adequate acceleration should allow for better managing of the many tight turns.

It really struggles on Fire Field. You can plan for the challenges on SNES, but here you essentially need two boosts per lap.

I don't know if that has ever happened...it's very unlikely if not impossible. In the final race are already the top 20 players, so you can't have that much of a big advantage...only way I can imagine is if you were first after the fourth race and everybody else crashes as well...but then maybe the last one surviving wins automatically, would be fun yet pretty impossible to find out lol.
