I ve watched the original video about 200 times, learned more in the 17min of this one than I have watching the other all those times. Thanks so much for taking the time to break it all down.

it's really interesting to see the analysis it's incredible the level of giles however the others are fast tries to pass the guard quickly but it was magnificent the exit of the ruby pass and followed by the reversal with the legs which roll up the crucifix then it's impressive to know how to deal with the situation the speed to take the back with the variations of the berimbolo and the back grip by first catching the shoulder arm then to bring it back frankly I try to apply the techniques by watching the videos who make me progress thank you

Brilliant. You can also force the butterfly using a combination of shin to shin and the reverse dela riva. Use it to drag there knee to the ground and grapevine like Adam ward does. Use it to set up butterfly sweeps. Awesome video thanks

What were you wanting to go for at 13:37? I've been trying to use a body lock like that to defend that pass since I noticed you do it in the video this one is from. I have gotten pretty good at getting my hands around the waist, but I haven't quite figured out what to do from there yet. Excellent narration, by the way! Definitely one of the best bjj youtube channels!

are you a lefty? because shin to shin on this side seems more difficult to me

I think his training partners were leading with their right leg, which makes that leg easier to access for shin on shin.
