If I were to say something about the "Super-Ego" character, given that he said he's a "manifestation", I'd say he would be what Max thinks the Commissioner looks like. In fact, concept art for the "Super-Ego" was gonna have him not wear a cape, but also wear a necktie, like the picture frame from the Cartoon Series.

I like that. The commissioner is probably the closest thing Max has to a figure he respects, since he's the reason him and Sam have their job.

Man, it’s super sad knowing that, since this is Max’s superego. That mean, Max wanted to die. Even when he’s with Sam, it doesn’t make him happy enough to not wish to go. Who knew a game about a cartoony gay dog and rabbit.
