As a security guard, I learned something interesting. every parking garage is actually two parking garages wrapped together in a double helix. so when you can’t get to your car, you go down to the first floor and usually look for another staircase in the opposite corner of the short way and that staircase is the one that will get you to the floor that you parked on. There are two of every floor after the first floor and the only place you can get to both simultaneously is at the top and bottom where the helixes connect to each other.

Because of the low quality of the video it can be a bit harder to detect, but he arcs his right foot and left foot up, quickly pulls back the right foot while continuing on the same arc with the left foot, so all we see is the motion of the right foot "transfer" over to the left foot.

For the airplane vid, aircraft measure speed two ways via airspeed and ground speed, the two are not always the same. Airspeed is essentially how fast the air is going over the aircraft, groundspeed is how fast your moving over the ground. It is completely possible to match the airspeed to the ambient wind speed resulting in a zero groundspeed. We jokingly call it activating hover mode.

No, what I noticed is the video artifact near the point where her hair was bending around whatever the point of contact was that extended to the wall. so I'd guess it was a set up and video editing to erase a string or similar, but they did a piss poor job and you see a blur in the air where it touches the hair and the wall.

Hey Narrator! I'm a pilot and would love to explain why the plane looks like it's just floating in the air at 5:37. So the whole reason planes fly is because of lift, which is caused by air flowing over the wings (lift in itself is a very complex and debated subject and it would take too long to explain). The plane in the video is an ultralight plane, meaning it can take off and land in a very short difference. And the whole reason it can do that is because of the amount of lift the wings produce, so the more lift the wings produce, the slower a plane can go without falling out of the sky. Now keep in mind that planes measure their speed in knots, which is an air based speed measurement system, and not mph like we do down here on the ground. Ground speed in no way, shape, or form influences the plane's flight while in the air, the only time it really matters is on takeoff or landing, but that's for another day. So for some airspeed examples, say a plane has an airspeed of 70 knots and is flying directly into a 20 knot headwind, that would mean the ground speed of the aircraft (or speed relative to the ground) would be 50 knots. Another example, say that the same plane is flying at an airspeed of 70 knots with a direct 20 knot tailwind, that would mean the plane's ground speed would be 90 knots. Now that I explained that, I can explain what happened in the video. As I said, the plane in the video is an ultralight, meaning it can take off and land in short distances because of the amount of lift the wings produce. And because of all that lift being produced, the plane doesn't have to go as fast to stay airborne. So what really happened in the video is that the plane's airspeed was equal to its headwind. Let's just say it was traveling at 60 knots, and there was a 60 knot headwind. So 60 - 60 = 0. And because the plane's airspeed is equal to its headwind, it makes it look like the plane is just floating in the air as if you were to hit pause. Hope this helps!

Sunlight can sometimes refract into a more defined/confined space from shining through windows or any transparency. The light refraction happens by a limitation of passing light rays, and the rays build up to reflect off of a particular area depending on the angle of the sunlight. This creates a brighter spot in the shape of the transparent window than the surrounding refraction effects.

5:35 The plane is pullng a banner. Which cause the plane to fly "slower". If he hits a strong enough head wind, there he will sit. Until the wind dies down, or he pulls the emergency release for the banner, and he flies away. Yes he is "hovering", but only cause the head wind is strong enough, and the "drag" from the banner is holding him there. He might be inching forward. We just can't tell from this distance. His ground speed could be as slow as 4 miles an hour. All depends on that head wind.

23:30 It's an optical illusion - like many more of these are - where the way our brain sees things relative to one another changes quite drastically as our perspective changes. In this case; the observer is holding a distant object (that isn't shrinking at all) in focus, while maintaining forward motion toward a foreground object (the road turning ahead) which in turn becomes larger as we get closer. This causes a brainfart because our brain is perceiving the object in focus as if it's part of the foreground, and not a background object.

WOW that is unbelievable that it looks that much like they swap, it took me watching it 15 times to see what actually happened, the timing and precision on the foot lineup is crazy. (if you look at the shoes it is visible if you look very closely)

12:59 This can be explainable. Some people have medical conditions where one part of their face isn't in sync with the other. For Example, there is a KZbinr that has a condition where one of her eyes will sometimes blink before the other. It's probably not very common but does happen. It might have something to do with the way the brain controls the body and the body sending the brain signals that causes stuff like this to happen.

I reckon it was just the glue on her fake lashes. I've had it happen to me.

These are either explainable and/or optical illusions or edited. For instance, the arrow through the balloon one... what you are actually seeing is remnants of the balloon in front of the unpopped balloon flying back and to the side of it. From the perspective of the side view it looks like it's behind it. So, the unpopped balloon is actually the last balloon. If you look closely, right before they change to the side view, you can see this.

Water currents usually move at a constant velocity, and if you went at the same or similar velocity, then the water movement will be in parallel to yours. Thus the perspective makes it look ultimately still.

but the car is moving in the opposite direction that the water is moving, when two cars pass each other in opposite directions, they dont look still to each other. smart words dont make you smart

The worst glitch i've seen. Was a missing person report on live tv that got recorded and suddently the face is disfigurred and even the tv station doesn't understand how it happened because they don't have it on their own tape. But it appears on live tv recordings.

20:25 The sky was blue and then pitch black like that because there was a massive light source creating light pollution. A bright and strong enough light source will even light up the sky, making the "normal blue" appear. It is the same light physics at work that causes most inhabited areas to have so much light pollution that you can't see the stars. Most common source of it happening at night are explosions and/or chemical fires.
