I just road the "Molli" Last week. It is worth a visit and it is on the "Baltic Riviera" The area is nice for a vacation that is not on the tourist hot spots.

I have travelled on both those railways when on holiday. The Molli was interesting in that you can catch the train on the street in the middle of the town just like waiting for a bus. At Putbus the Rugen Railway connects with the main DB line. Holiday was organised by railway holidays.com

It's Kühlungsborn and Rügen, and the train on Rügen is called "Der Rasende Roland"

Stevenson, the man who started railroading and, opted for the 4' 8.5" Standard Gauge, admitted he wished he went with a wider gauge. I'm guessing along the lines of Russian and Indian gauge.

The Molli is 900 millimetre and the other one is 750 millimetre.
