I'm really happy you've adopted OTIS. My childhood memories of our Golden Cocker Spaniel include her ears getting messy from dipping in her dinner as she ate. Mum's solution was to keep them up during mealtimes with wooden clothes pegs! We had her for more than 14 marvellous years, and she travelled everywhere with us in the Austin A40, head out the window, ears flapping.

Really pleased you have found a new companion & crew member. It was a shock when Dillon passed. He always struck me as a happy, enthusiastic and kind dog, who took the transition from landlubber to captain of your vessel in his stride. Always out working hard supervising, helping when you did locks, making sure you did them correctly, checking out mooring site to ensure they were suitable. He will be missed but Otis looks more than capable of filling that gap. Keep on vlogging.

We were very much the same when our beloved Ella died- We thought we may never get another dog but the house was just so empty without a dog living here so we did not take long to bring another Whippet into the household and just love him to bits. That was THE perfect vlog in so many ways😀. Firstly Otis. I totally understand why you got another dog so soon. Been there many times and you have to fill that great big empty feeling again. You 2 were doing well in your vlogs but this week you can see a big change in both of your faces. He is gorgeous and you are loving it. Henley is a lovely place to be. Looking at those houses it was hard to believe it was England. Beautiful filming on beautiful days too. My dog fell head first in the Thames when she was young very near where you were moored. She learned a lesson quickly that you can’t step onto water 😂. Oh and Superman could never be under dressed in Henley 😉. Thanks for a brilliant vlog. When my sister's Jack Russell, Josie passed some years ago she vowed not to have another. A few weeks later and Lucy arrived! We have a picture of Lucy as a tiny puppy who had managed to climb up the sofa and drape herself around my neck like a scarf and fall asleep! Lucy is an old lady now so not sure if there will be another, but like you, her narrow boat will be empty without the "ships dog". Otis looks a cheeky chap!

I was so sorry to hear about Dhillon, and Otis is absolutely beautiful 💞🐾. We lost two of our old guys - one about this time in August last year, and the other in January. I've been watching you guys and have seen just about every episode of your channel from cedar lake Indiana in the United States. I think you guys are amazing and absolutely love watching your adventures. I absolutely fell for your pup dillon and was so saddened by your loss as I have just lost my amazing dog buddy . He was the oldest English Stafford shire terrier recorded in the United States at 21 years old . Only in his last month was when he let us know it was time . Before that he was still amazingly healthy for his age . I'm so happy for you two and wish your new pup a long as wonderful life. It's easy to see you two are great puppy parents. I myself will miss dillon too . This is my first time commenting and I sincerely appreciate watching you and wishing safe and sound travels from a small town bloat named tim McGrew about 45 minutes south of Chicago.
