Ahhh love a steam train. The smell, the sounds.My dad is a massive grin lover and for his 70th he chartered the steam train on the watgercress line for and afternoon and filled the carriages with friends and family. Core memory being sat up front with my dad and my sister coming along and all getting a turn at driving it!!

What a blessing to have such unusually mild weather during the holiday period. I had similar weather and it did feel a bit odd. Such a special time to have walks and trips with friends to help burn off all that lovely food, and a little glass of something of course! 😊

My personal favourite - An influence of KZbinrs 🤣 For example - An influence of KZbinrs was spotted last weekend on top of a mountain deep in the Welsh countryside. Rumour has it that a pair of famous bears were also a part of the aforementioned influence Sources state that some magical photographs were taken capturing memorable and magical vistas. Oh you did bring back some memories today. We used to go to the Llangollen railway a lot but moved before they got to Corwen. We went once during the Eisteddfod and some Danish girls taking part sang Dancing Queen unaccompanied on the platform at one of the stations. Magical. So lovely to see you had a tour of the footplate. You had such lovely weather to climb up to the ruins. Pity it’s changed. -7 here last night in Cheshire. I think you might be on holiday on the sun. Hi Ant. Happy New Year to you and Paul. Nice to see the steam engine / train footage. Britain has really taken seriously the preservation of steam loco's from the past and is literally running out of engines to restore. There are many KZbin channels on this that I watch. The same company in Doncaster that built Tornado is now building a new engine that will be the largest ever built in the UK. The steam engines here in the US don't have the character of the ones we built in past there.

Hey Phil. Happy New Year to you too. I think the preservation of steam trains is really important. Something magical about them and I felt like a big kid being allowed to stoke the furnace. Happy weekend! 🥰 The etching of Dexter is lovely. Boxing Day looked glorious! Truly amazing with warmth and sun on December 26th. The train trip looked like a great day as well. It's unfortunate that your friends couldn't use the tickets but it was a wonderful day for you. 🌨🥶 It's 23F here and snowing on top of the around 8 to 9 inches of snow from before. 😮 🌨 It's supposed to stop during the night and might add 3 to 4 to inches.
