My dad has taught me, pretty much since birth, that the word "iterate" means to repeat, and when one uses the word "reiterate," he/she is pretty much saying "rerepeat." He also tells me constantly that "reiterate" is not a proper word. Excluding my father, you are the only person whom I have encountered to properly use "iterate" rather than "reiterate." I recently remembered this video when I saw that in an airport, and it turns out the dead sheep is actually the logo of the clothing store Brooks Brothers which was founded in 1818 and is the oldest clothier in the US. The dead sheep is a symbol of the golden fleece which european wool merchants used.
