"as long as we're in this legal gray area can I keep doing it?" And he said "you probably shouldn't" This is a brilliant idea. This way the minimum wage security guy gets to feel important for impeding what you've already accomplished without having to detain you further for the same said feeling.

In watching this, I realize that even 13 years later there are still many core aspects of John's life and personality. My life has changed so much in 13 years, but, as the Disney song goes "some things never change", like John singing his name repeatedly and having feelings about his signature quality, John playing FIFA on stream, and that two brothers are still letting us to listen in on their conversations.

It just makes me so nostalgic, hearing him talk about him starting up the Swindontown Swoodilypoopers, knowing that now it's the Wimbledon Wimblywomblies. It's just kind of odd, and a little sad, but very beautiful. Captured memory.

I just want to give you a hug and be like “you don’t belong in this kindergarten class do you?” Also, typically when I approach a day with this type of energy, usually the end of the days is one of those where I curl up in a fetal position and just CRY my eyes out about how I “just want some to loveeeee meeeeee pleaaaasseeeeee” so in case that’s how your days sometimes end, idk maybe you might care about just how much you are loved and how much I personally want to see you shine even brighter even though I can’t quite see how that’s possible (lol jk I have a very vivid imagination).

My dad has taught me, pretty much since birth, that the word "iterate" means to repeat, and when one uses the word "reiterate," he/she is pretty much saying "rerepeat." He also tells me constantly that "reiterate" is not a proper word. Excluding my father, you are the only person whom I have encountered to properly use "iterate" rather than "reiterate." Your use of that one word has made my day. Thank you so much for your wonderful word use.

the tragic and irrevocable flaws in your signature are a metaphor for the tragicness and irrevocable flawedness of life, which is highlighted in the book. (in the true style of a nerdfighter who makes words of words that aren't: tragicness and flawedness are now words)

I recently remembered this video when I saw that in an airport, and it turns out the dead sheep is actually the logo of the clothing store Brooks Brothers which was founded in 1818 and is the oldest clothier in the US. The dead sheep is a symbol of the golden fleece which european wool merchants used.
@timmcdaniel61936 жыл бұрын
The origin is the Greek myth of the Golden Fleece of Colchis, the goal of Jason and countless screaming Argonauts, and the source of the constellation Ares, the Ram. The knightly Order of the Golden Fleece was the highest award of the Dukes of Burgundy, who were the rock stars of the late Middle Ages -- massively famous, massively rich, trend-setters for everyone, and in the end self-destructive.

Can you take a picture of your bookshelves, please? It would also be awesome if you could make another video with book recommendations. If you see this- thanks. And if you don't see this...you will also see the word "thanks" written out, so I guess it won't matter if I actually want to thank you or not at that point, because it won't necessarily be in my control once I click the button that carves this comment onto the never-ending wall of KZbinness. John Green is a successful author. The pages he's signing in the video have since been bound into the first printing of "The Fault in Our Stars", his most recent book. Because he was already a successful author when he wrote the book, that meant the first printing was a whopping 150,000 copies, every single one of which contains a page John Green personally signed. Not exactly a task he could knock out in an afternoon.
