Considering that a lot of people are ordering online, I don't understand why some brands continue to heavily photoshop their promo pics. The shades are so different irl! Same issue with PMG and ND... @@carolynhutchin8984 there's 2 shades that look similar on the skin but they have different undertones. One more brick while the other more magenta. The highlight is too dark for me but they all are in every face palette I own. There's just something about them that is so good! It doesn't look like makeup at all it just makes you look healthy. I have a light neutral complexion so maybe that could have something to do with it

I find baked geleé formulas work better with a “rougher” bristled brush. I find the nars blush brush is pretty scratchy, and it works great with this formula.

I love Nars blushes especially their regular blush formula . With these type of hard pressed blushes I use a dense packed blush brush like my Tom Ford one, then I can pick up more color. Lots of pinks this year. Will wait for the sale. Nice review!

I love last years and I used a foundation brush to pick up the product because when I tried to use a fluffy or soft brush and nothing happened. So that worked for me.

My thoughts exactly! That bottom middle shade isn't the gorgeous, rusty Terracotta I thought it was going to be. It's much paler and boring in reality. It appears from stock images that this palette is quite a unique and saturated set of tones compared to what we've seen from Nars before. But alas, we have another fairly basic blush palette. It is pretty and I like the brighter shades, but darn. If only it were to look like it does in those images! I've been eagerly awaiting its release ever since I saw the teaser for it, but my level of excitement dropped from a 9 to about a 5 after seeing it in action :(

That neutral shade still looks super pink on camera, I hope it's more neutral irl. I normally get all the Nars blush palettes but I've bought a LOT of blush this year so if it's as pink on me as it appears on you on camera, I might pass on this one.
