Naruto was prepared to die, and Kurama said the mode would last until their life force was empty. Meaning Kurama cut off the mode so Naruto didn't die. Naruto could've used all his remaining life to kill Ishiki. Looks like Kishimoto didn't have the resolve to see his character's resolve to die be fulfilled. Imo it would've been a better ending to see Naruto use his remaining life to kill Ishiki, before collapsing and telling Sasuke to take care of Hinata, Himawari, Boruto, and Kawaki. Better to see him go out on such a high note, as a goat, than to see him waste away after being nerfed. It also would've been great for character development for Boruto, who hasn't lost a damn thing. He hasn't been through a sliver of what Naruto has. Why'd Boruto get to keep his dad, while Naruto lost the one being that's been there since day one? Stupid.

Narutofandom always thinks character development = losing something. Why does someone’s family have to be killed in order to be appreciated as a character? Boruto is going to go through some dark stuff but it’s not like it’s a necessity for his character. Why does Boruto have to lose his dad? There’s other ways to write a character than a tragic backstory.

This was one of the very few episodes of Boruto that I enjoyed. Even though I dont think even this arc was good if compared to other shonens especially Naruto but it wasnt poor like other Boruto arcs. I watched Boruto till episode 225 just because I am a huge fan of Naruto and Kakashi's character but I finally got fed up of it after that and dropped it. Imo Boruto should have never been an anime but I am glad that it gave me atleast some good memories.

I’d say Boruto has a lot of potential it’s just that the anime canon stuff is kinda boring whereas the manga is dope. Maybe this anime needs to be seasonal. Boruto if done properly has the potential to be better than Shippuden but not OG Naruto. For now it’s OG Naruto > Shippuden > Boruto. Wish the villains in Boruto had as much hype as og Naruto villains. For example, kid Gaara, Orochimaru, the sound 4, kid Neji, Zabuza, Kisame and Itachi. It was terrifying seeing them for the first time. They had a proper backstory and a damm good reason to be the bad guy. In Boruto it’s sadly just overpowered characters with no backstory to them. The otsutsuki ideology is too simple. Attack every planet, eat it’s god fruit and become god. That’s it. I feel like this is why no one’s interested in the new gen villains. It’s like every villain is as boring as Hidan. “ I’ll kill people because why not “. Hopefully things get better

All these reactors get so much information wrong. For instance, Isshiki, in the beginning, had only had 2 days of chakra, which is the life force itself. In the fight, as he began using more Jutsu and expended more chakra, of course, his life force went down, thus limiting him from using more chakra and thus drawing out more of his power. As stated by him, he began with two days' worth, and after fighting the pair for a while, he went down to 20 hours, and then Naruto shaved it down to 5 minutes. As we know, that doesn't shave off "Years of Worth of chakra = life force." It only shaved off 19 hours and 55 minutes, and the Baryon mode began taking effect on Naruto. This is so dumb. Like how could people miss so much information that was laid out in front of them? Yes, Isshiki was not in full power here, and that is why they are trying to get him away from Kawaki so he doesn't resurrect in a proper vessel that can house all his chakra and power. It was stated by Amado himself, that if he does reincarnate within Kawaki, no matter who stands to fight or get in Isshiki's way, they'll be defeated, and Earth will be sucked dry of its chakra and life.

Since isshiki hated Sasuke's Amenotejikara or teleport swap jutsu I can only imagine how pissed he'd be if they used edo tensei to bring Obito back. I mean they could asked kabuto to bring them back and since kabuto experienced izanami he's a good guy now. And also kurama wouldn't have died if they did. All they needed was Obito. Hell they should have brought back Obito, Minato and tobirama. Main point is isshiki can't kill them since their edo tensei. All it takes is for them too fool isshiki and mark him with ftg by either Minato or tobirama. After that they can teleport him to places and use shadow clones to keep him fighting until he dies. If it gets chaotic they can take him somewhere else.
