It's so ridiculously unfair that Erwin was so close to knowing the truth (of his dream) and couldn't find out the truth, giving up on the dream is very sad. And it's so terrible to realize that new recruits joined the survey corps with the desire to do something important and useful, but in fact they just went on a murderous mission, dying from a stupid rocks. 27:38 asking Isayama to be less violent is pointless. 44:13 the moment when Armin can no longer hold the sword always makes me cry.

26:03 Showing this again but, in not as much of a grand moment like the last episode to me is so powerful. No matter how great Erwin was as a leader and as a man, at the end he was just another man. Another soldier. It’s hard to describe how it makes me feel even though it’s just a short scene we’ve already seen it has a completely different vibe. The scene continues from his death and even Marlo is like “charge, don’t look back!” It’s just another death.

31:19 Levi is always 2 steps ahead in the is fight. Monkey thinks he’s going for the neck but, Levi goes for the eyes then takes out his Achilles then the nape before he even knows what hit him. Levi is also idk if you noticed but, he’s the only soldier that switches his hand positions when he’s fighting. Small details show how skillful he is. Show is just so detailed, you can notice infinite new things every rewatch.

Levi is just always couple of steps ahead in every Fight, but yes, this one definitely one of the highlights of his abilities

6:23 So true. He probably felt guilty that he survived for that long. Even though he had a hidden agenda he did benefit humanity as well. Interesting point that he was being egotistical thinking he manipulated all of those soldiers, when in reality if someone joined scout regiment they knew the risk. While Erwin helped motivate them when faced with these risky situations that you can’t really prepare for until they happen to you, in their hearts they did want to make an impact on the world and were willing to risk their lives’ “give their hearts”. Fighting for each other as Erwin said. Thank you I never thought about it from that perspective! ❤
