Itachi has beaten Minato's scores in the practical exam, even Itachi was very young and graduated in just 1 year from the academy whereas Minato stayed in the academy for a long time. Even in Itachi shinden novel, they mentioned itachi scores was less not bcoz he didn't answer some questions or so actually itachi completed the exam alone whereas minato in a group so higher-ups decided to let minato to be on the top bcoz he fulfilled mission in team while itachi team got injured even before the exam so itachi had to complete the exam alone that's why. Minato was indeed genius but itachi was a genius and prodigy.

Aishiteru means 'I love you' but it's a very intense way of saying it which is why it's pretty rarely said for the more reserved Japanese culture (even among married couples). To say 'Aishiteru' is like saying "you mean more to me than anyone else in this world" kind of I love you. This is one of those instances where some things can be linguistically translated but not culturally translated from Japanese to English

Technically speaking the Uzumaki clan doesn't belong to the Village but they have an alliance which means Uzumaki members can go live there due to different reasons (Kushina's would be explained in the next episodes) being the Village which gives them a place for living during their occupancy. So the property belongs to the village but they lend it to be used for their allies.

Nobody hates relevant flashbacks which add depth to the plot. What we hate is the same flashback repeating again and again like them showing Sasuke and Naruto's first fight at the final valley, Kurama destroying Konoha, flashbacks from the sasuke retrieval arc, etc.

Well pain destroyed the village sooooo... and honestly the map of the village never really made sense, I mean supposedly the uchiha lived on the outskirts, and when they show that they show a diagram of their area being just outside the wall, but everytime they show an aerial view, everything is inside the wall. And when pain destroys it, you see that the rubble pushes up against the wall. And the only game I played doesnt answer these questions if I remember correctly.

I think Minatos 4 reaper Death seal is easily the smartest/wisdomful feat in the whole naruto series. He first of all split the chakra of kurama into ying and yang between hinself and Naruto so Naruto could handle it while it was compressed in him for all those years. Then he also put Some of Kushinas chakra in it. Kushina used her world renowned Uzumaki sealing jutsus to tame Kurama. So Minato didnt just put kurama in his son but he compressed in 1/2 and kept the other half to himself. Without kushinas chakra, Naruto would have never gotten KCM mode.
