Not happening because the Naruto Shippuden light novels & Boruto are 2 different franchises. It definitely won’t be released under the Boruto title. They are just connected to the same universe. But nothing will change, they will keep the crappy filler’s coming for multiple reasons; 1 reason is because they can stretch the content out as much as possible to squeeze out as much profits as much just like a drug dealer cutting his drugs with mannitol or rat poison, & a 2nd reason is because the more crappy filler they produce then the more lackadaisical the animators can be & not work as hard. Anybody who seen the most recent Boruto filler anime will know that the animation in this episode is cheap & lazy. They literally did like a skip scene when Boruto used his rasengan, he literally went from the air & it skipped to the enemy on the ground. The filler is cheap, lazy, doesn’t require a lot of work & they can still squeeze money out of the viewer’s

If connected with the story now, something like this: Sasuke is on a Code search mission, suddenly remembering the memories he had with Sakura in Redaku Country. Then the scene switches to a flashback a few months/years ago to tell the events in the novel Sasuke Retsuden. When finished, go back to the current timeline and Sasuke continues to look for the Code, then enters the Code arc

I wish they made a light novel on Minato's story because they can cover many things : minato academy days and training , his love story , 1st and 2nd ninja wars , hokage fights , other villages and their top fighters and jinchuriki's , sannin fights , white fang of leaf story , fugaku story and complete uchiha clan revolt explained properly , can introduce kaguya in hashirama and madara era and clear the tension cause in the ending she came out of nowhere so can explain that properly by building the story from their era . But we have to wait .

I really want to get Minato story with weekly episodes and not a lot of filler. there's got to be a lot of content because of the third great shinobi war. but I wouldn't mind some cannon filler of just random missions he has been on. id imagine there should be some really good ones since he became a jonin at such a young age. it could start at the academy and end just after his death. thats 14 years in the story so just imagine how long the anime could be. and if that goes good there could be another show after the completion of the Minato one called "Naruto: First Generations" with Hashirama and Tobirama and Madara and a young Hiruzen as the main characters and could cover all his backstory and him creating Konoha. The possibilities in the naruto universe are endless. id also like to see some mini series with other characters backstories

I always wanted to see a series that focused on characters outside of the Land of Fire, or even the Shinobi continent, like obviously it probably wouldn't be successful as Naruto, but imagine a series that takes place in another land, or on a different continent, there is so much we are told in Naruto/Boruto about certain locations that we never get to see in the manga or anime 90% of the time we are in the Land of Fire, or Konoha, only visiting a handful of places outside the Land of Fire

I think you make an exceedingly good point when it comes to supporting a new IP for the potential reoccurrence of other new IPS. I haven't watched any of Boruto because I haven't really had any interest in watching a story about a character that I'm not very interested in. However, the idea that we could get other characters within the Naruto universe fleshed out, could see potential historical events play out, or a myriad of other things that the community might not even have thought about is very exciting. I absolutely loved Naruto growing up and was very sad when I finally finished Shippuden. Well I don't think that boruto is horrible, I definitely am not as ecstatic as I would like to be about it. If supporting Sasuke's upcoming story will help give the Naruto community potential for content like it in the future, you can damn well believe that I will help prop it up and we'll spread the word on it to try to get others to do the same in an effort to get the series that I love and even greater chance at being explored and discovered.

The easiest way to do this is make a Naruto chronicles series. That way, they can adapt all the light novels without having to worry about continuity, and they can even make more stories about past eras of Naruto, even with Kishimoto overseeing to make it canon.

Personally the announcement was disappointing to me. Adapting more light novel content just seemed expected and really predictable to me, while I was hoping for something unpredictable and possibly more grandiose. I am glad, don't get me wrong, and I agree that it's a good sign for more content to come. It just wasn't worth the hype, I feel a little bit cheated. Though if it makes money, then hopefully in a year or so they have a better announcement.

Not only would this expand the world of Naruto, this would also expose haters who hate on the series for the lack of fleshed out side characters as a lot of the LNs center around these characters who weren’t as fleshed out. Because so many people never read the LNs and just watch or read the manga which is fine there’s a lot of LNs. But if we take Naruto as a franchise meaning it’s anime/mang and LNS, a lot of the flaws that once existed is no longer so apparent. What I mean is LNs do a great way of filling in the holes that were left in the manga/anime and fixing the flaws. So by blending it all together into anime or manga format, the exposure would be insane and it people be a great way to refine the series

If they are animated and they are canon then one thing that stands out to me is the entire 'Pill that creates Kurama's charka' leaves no reason why Kurama shouldn't be resurected. If it takes place pre-Kurama's death then there is no way Konoha doesn't have information about how said pill's were crafted and considering the entire 'Naruto you no longer have Kurama and thus can't fight like you used to' thing doesn't make much sense in a world where these pills that can create Kurama's chakra exist that Naruto wouldn't use them to bring back his friend and regain the power he desperately requires with all the crazy stuff going on in Boruto Era.

Kishimoto should have pulled a Toriyama for Boruto. Once they found out how utterly unpopular Boruto was, they should have given him the Teen Gohan treatment and sidelined him as a main character, and refocused back on Naruto. Then eventually work Boruto back in as a somewhat decent backup character with some specials where he gains higher powers than Naruto, but never for long.

The animation quality frequently drops. Hell, just look at how shitty the animation was this last week. Except for a few great moments in the Boruto anime (Naruto&Sasuke vs. Momoshiki; Kawaki's introductory battle; Naruto vs. Isshiki; etc.), the animation is terrible compared to TYBW.

@@spidy_zihi There have been plenty of canon episodes of Naruto, Shippuden, and Boruto where the animation quality was notably lacking. None of that has ever stopped me from watching, nor have I ever discouraged others from watching. You do not seem to understand that someone can love something and also want it to be better. In fact, we often want things to be better exactly because we love them. If I thought the series was trash, I would not care about the animation quality. In sum, chill tf out.

I was originally hyped to type this but I can't keep listening past the 5:11 mark. Obviously the greedy nature of cooperate heads won't allow them to see reason and scrap the entire Boruto content. Retusden novels included. Those are offensive and save a few (Itachi shadows & light), the rest are horrible cash grabs. Motorcycles powered by Chakra, Sasuke fighting dragons etc. All trash. ALL. No true Naruto fan should be excited for this. Maybe, MAYBE the new community filled with 'I know better than you' watchers but definitely no old fan should be excited about this. It's officially Boruto Ball Z at this point. Love your content but unfortunately this is a hard pass for me

I don't disagree with you, but I don't see the problem with Sasuke fighting a "dragon." It isn't like Naruto hasn't always been filled with weird animals. Why is a dragon a problem but a talking toad the size of a mountain that fights with a sword is okay?

@@newmonkeyking2481 I can understand it appealing to new anime watchers, I really do. But outside of fight scenes (which on critical viewing doesn't belong to a ninja world. Maybe a certain hair changing alien), Boruto and most novels tied to it lack substance (Sasuke, Kakashi and Naruto retsuden which despite taking the focus off Boruto, somehow takes every central theme of it and runs it ALL UP TO 11 and being an utter deviation from what should be, piecing horribly written fiction after horribly written fiction) , the series itself to most older watching anime fans represents decadence. That's why a part of the fan base were in favor of Boruto being a bad dream in the tsukuyomi amongst many theories that have to do with doing away with Boruto. It's all a cash grab. And not a good kind.

His son learnt senjutsu from said toad that ended up impacting the war against the 10 tails? The dragons in this one simply exist for the sake of wanting a bad guy to fight and are promptly dropped off. No bearing.. No long term effects.. Nothing. It's just like Otsusuki.. Cyborgs.. Ao being bad.. Bayron mode.. Jougan.. Blah blah blah. It just exists for the sake of nerfing characters. For goodness sake in Naruto retsuden there are googles that transfer the byakugan powers to you by WEARING them. Same novel.. Naruto and Sasuke are looking for a comet. Somehow.. SOMEHOW... Sasuke can't use his susanoo to fly. No no. He has to take a bike supported by Kakashi and Gaara using earth style. Somehow.. In Kakashi's novel he can cover the hidden city he visits with earth jutsu. A CITY. But cannot maintain Sasuke and Naruto riding a bike to the sky. It's just... Nonsense. Bear in mind.. Sasuke and Naruto could fly with their respective power ups in Shippuden. It's just all woke garbage
