Healing cell Hashirama died of wounds? Cmon. Everyone used his cells because they automatocly heal all injury. One reason Madara struggled so much is that to kill Hashirama you have to kill him fully. You cant cut stab or injur him and expect him to die from any of that.

The Senju Clan interbreeding with other clans/family members makes the most sense. Hashirama, in attempt to unify the clans probably decided to disband the Senju name in accordance to the creation of the village. Madara knew that the Hokage title will probably just be passed down to the Senju Clan members since they are technically the founding fathers of the village (Ended up passed down to Tobirama). Hashirama & Tobirama knowing this wanted to erase the clan name to avoid having a "Royal Family" within the village. Having such a Royal Family to the village that is tied to the Hokage name title will just cause hatred and jealously to form from other clans, and thus potentially start a civil war. The interbred theory also makes sense because You started to see the rise of powerful Konoha Shinobi being born during the time Hiruzen was young. (Sakumo Hatake, Legendary Sannin, Minato).

thats acutally false and contraditctory. consider that Hashirama wanted Madara to become the Hokage, this is canon. a little lore reminder. the first Hokage was woted among the village clans. they all wanted Hashirama especially the Utchiha. Madara assumed hed be choicen especially by his own people. this was what he considered as betrayal to his superior complex. this was the reason why Madara ended up hating his clan and overtime wanted it to be eradicated. the distrust of the utciha happen years after the Madara betrayal. prior they were respected to the same level as the senju. Madara is the source of the Utchihas downfall both directly and inderectly. also the Hokage system was never connected with inherency and Madara knew this fact. read the manga and even the books, heck even the anime bin clear on this fact. this hasnt hanged

My theory has always been that the Uzumaki clan massacre was orchestrated by Black Zetsu, Kaguya's will (and possibly Karma mark) to ensure the resurrection of Kaguya could happen by eliminating a clan capable of sealing her or, at the very least, sealing the ten tails to prevent her coming back. And you know who's been stoking the flames of the Uchiha vs Senju war from the very beginning? Black Zetsu. That is the stated intent of Black Zetsu- orchestrating the entirety of ninja history as it pertains to the resurrection of Kaguya by manipulating and pulling strings from the shadows, keeping the ninja world plagued with war until it reached a point where she could come back. He succeeded. But of course he's Black Zetsu and he can't be everywhere at once so he has to manipulate key players piece by piece so it took a long time. I think the other Otsutsuki used this to their advantage which is what led to Momoshiki, Urushiki and Ishiki shooting their shot at Earth's Chakra fruit only after everything with Kaguya went down, who was yet another major threat to the Otsutsuki. Just like that, all their enemies are gone except an emo kid with a magic eye and his golden retriever boyfriend.
