It was always weird to me that Naruto and Jiraiya trained together for almost 3 years and Naruto learned NONE of this. Painful to recall of course, but it does seem like he didn't learn much about his sensei.

I think I'm more disappointed that Jiraiya never told him about his heritage. I know young Naruto was reckless af, but surely somewhere in those three years he could've told him about his mom at least.

Naruto did learn Giant Rasengan,How to Break out of normal Genjutsu and Advanced Taijujtsu with his Shadow Clones,Aside from that,not his fault,plus they had to keep moving,if Naruto trained too intensely there was a chance 9-tails can come out,which one occasion did. Also Naruto isn't portrayed as exactly a bright student. Jiraya Kept his past hidden,after he tried to convince him at the end of original Naruto,Saying Sasuke is Like Orochimaru and he isn't coming back and Naruto Brushed him off like a child,saying he doesn't need Jiraya's training to stop sasuke. Can you blame Jiraya though, Naruto clearly isn't ready during time skip.

@@KaustubhRayrikar Gonna focus on one thing in particular: Jiraiya teaching Naruto how to break out of a normal genjutsu was pretty much pointless, since Part 2 only focuses on Sharingan-related genjutsu, ehich is severely OP.

@@OpticalSorcerer I still believe Jiraya did all what he could in the timespan.Jiraya was thinking on track, for Naruto to Master 9 tail Chakra/Techniques(Like Tailed beast bombs) as we know that would give Naruto Huge advantage.But,it failed,as that was a extremely difficult thing to do.
