Kids so damaged from loss that he can't even express his pain. It was just too much for him. So he just feels the loneliness like a constant low burn below the surface. Losing those close to him slowly, He comes to a psychotic conclusion. People will always leave you alone. But an eternal puppet will always keep you company. And yet he still feels so alone that he choses to die.

Sasori is a very well-written character. You can feel the loss of parents as a child gradually changed him.

Man, Sasori has such a depressing backstory. Even though he went down a dark path, Chiyo herself acknowledges that he was pushed into becoming a monster by the Sand village itself in order to take part in the great Shinobi war. The sand village was particularly brutal around that time and only wanted heartless killers to go out into the frontlines. As unstable as Sasori was it was just a tipping point that sent him over the edge.

First off: love the KH profile picture. Secondly: I wish the backstories were spaced out a bit more. It feels like weird pacing to me to only give them a backstory during their final battle. We could've had Sasori's backstory earlier since Granny Chiyo was part of the group.

@@OpticalSorcererI forgot how they set up Sasoris backstory since it was so long ago. Also there is too much cuts in these reactions for me to remember how it flows. What I do know is that I like Flashbacks during fights if it’s consistent with the fight. I think some fights in this series did it well. Also yeah my pfp is from the 20th anniversary picture with Sora from kh1-4. My pfp only has kh1 and kh4 Sora.

@@flamma1114 I enjoy flashbacks during fights as well--I just wish that the bulk of the flashbacks wasn't done during battles. It doesn't give me enough time to really enjoy the depth and complexity of the characters. For example, I got into Demon Slayer, and I keep feeling like the sad backstories happen too late since it's not until they're defeated that we know what happened to them. And I really hope the next KH saga is easier to follow. I enjoy the fact that it looks like Disney properties are gonna become more important again.

@@OpticalSorcerer I think it was really well done when they told us about Itachi after he died. But yeah they should show the backstories before the fights for the most part. Also the next Kh era seems like it’s going to be like kh1 with more Disney. Since hades and the fairy godmother are involved now. Hopefully kh4 will have more playable characters and quadralitum as a hub type thing.

@@aliayanny9249 I know, but but felt more meaningful (at least to me) the first time around. It would've been a nice parallel to see Kankuro's broken homelife and Sasori's sad backstory.

They could’ve had him as support for Sakura, or make the fight with Sasori forced to run away. They could’ve made him seriously hurt Chiyo and having Sakura choose between rescuing Chiyo or going after Sasori and then have Kankuro fight him in the future
