The first time I saw this opening i kinda liked it but quickly diminished it as unremarkable and didn't really think much of it, but as time goes on I started to think deeper into this opening. This is perhaps the most emotional opening of Naruto despite it had nothing to do with the actual storyline arc, since the context and the story of this specific opening being made were about the disaster. It was 2011 Japan tsunami at the time and this song is so much more than another ordinary opening. This is legitimately my favorite part. Naruto, rather than focusing on others - finally stopped for a bit to focus on himself. He confronted his pain and hatred, forgave himself, and showed love to himself. Powerful and relatable message, both in the episode and the opening. The Waterfall of Truth is honestly my favorite part about this arc.
