It’s very important to learn from Pains speech and what it means for Naruto and Sasuke going foreword…many fans do not. It’s also very interesting that Naruto says peace created through killing people is a lie but that’s the exact kind of peace created in Konoha which was done by destroying smaller nations.

Pain would suffer but I remind you that their sherigan eyes won’t work on Pain’s rinnegan. So pretty much all what they can do is ninjutsu and taijutsu which itself would be difficult to defeat

@@og-hikki1537 In this scenario he would be... 3 years older? More? He would have both his Mangekyo since Danzo wouldn't have stole one. Itachi thought Shisui had even more potential than him, it's extremely possible that he could have significantly affected Pain's assualt. Plus, in the games (which are canon) it's revealed thatr the only reason Danzo ganked Shisui was because Shisui trusted him and Danzo poisoned him. Not to mention Danzo had the entire ROOT division backing him up and tracking Shisui down lol.

@@smitefulaxe1344The games canonicity are up for debate, Kishimoto’s involvement isn’t fully known and could just be down to design elements. However, in the Itachi Midnight novel Shisui is poisoned so that’s confirmed canon.
